<h3>Shania Twain Teams Up with Lionel Richie For Endless Love.</h3>
<p>As I am sure you are aware, <strong>Lionel Richie</strong> has released a country duets album titled <strong><em>Tuskegee</em></strong>, so named after his hometown in Alabama. After decades of singing and producing in other genres, this industry veteran has apparently decided to take a walk on the country side of things. Whoever is in charge of marketing this puppy has been pushing it <em>hard</em> (remember when Richie got a <em>whole</em> set during the <a title="CMA Awards" href="https://countrymusicontour.com/cma-awards-tickets-pre-sale-starts-now/">CMA Awards</a>?), but the album just released <strong>March 18th</strong>, so its a bit early to say whether or not all the pushing has been successful. <p>He also covers the classic &#8220;<strong><em>Endless Love</em></strong>&#8221; with <strong><a title="Shania Twain" href="https://stubhub.prf.hn/click/camref:1100ljXyr/pubref:WPSShania/ar:CMNBAutoLink/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stubhub.com%2Fshania-twain-tickets%2F">Shania Twain</a></strong>, and the video for this particular tune just released. It is&#8230;well, dramatic and also a bit silly featuring a horse&#8230;the beach&#8230;a black and white kind of motif and even some slow motion. I am honestly not trying to be mean, but I really did laugh out loud when Lionel leaves the house and runs to the beach where Shania is <em>galloping</em> up on a horse (from the ocean?). Although, Shania is one of the queens of 90&#8217;s country, so maybe its an homage to the era&#8230;the vibe is definitely there. </p>
<p>I&#8217;m really just not sold on the whole Lionel-Richie-Is-Going-Country thing. I might be alone in this though because from what I&#8217;ve read listeners seem to be responding positively. What do <em>you</em> think? </p>
