Terri Clark’s first headline night at the Ryman is now an album fans can return to. Terri Clark: Live From The Ryman, released October 30, captures 17 tracks from her August 29, 2024 show, including appearances by Ashley McBryde and Trisha Yearwood.
The detail that makes this release stand out is how it was assembled. Clark says the recording grew from her road crew’s board tracks, and her team says neither she nor the band added re-recorded parts afterward. The aim was to preserve the performance and the exchange with the people in the room.
“We chose passion over perfection,” Clark said in the announcement.
McBryde joins her on “Better Things To Do,” while Yearwood appears on “Poor Poor Pitiful Me.” The set also includes “Emotional Girl,” “I Just Wanna Be Mad,” “Girls Lie Too” and several medleys.
For fans who were there, it’s a chance to revisit a milestone. For everyone who missed the show, the recording brings that particular night within reach. CountryMusicNewsBlog.com is always glad to see a live release keep the audience part of the story.
