The Judds 2010 Concert Tour

Naomi and Wynonna Judd are discussing a small concert tour in 2010.

The Judds Reunion Tour is looking like a reality at last! Straight from the source: Wynonna says “We are ‘in talks,’ so there’s nothing that’s been defined yet. I just felt it in my spirit. A couple weeks ago I said, ‘It’s 2010. It’s been 25 years. It’s take your mother to work year. It just feels like it’s the right time. She’ll be 64 in January, and I think it’s time — not the whole year, but it’s just going to be a way to celebrate her.”

She continues, explaining that their performance on the CMA music festival inspired the desire to go back out as a duo: “We sang for 50,000 people and they sang back to us, and it was a holy moment. And on the drive home I thought, ‘Y’know, I really appreciate where I’ve come from and the people do, too, and they love The Judds’ music and it hasn’t disappeared.’ I just thought, ‘Y’know, I think it’s time.'”

Other releases from The Judd’s camp state that the ladies may go back in the studio to record new music (something which I am just twitterpated over!) and are expected to team up on Wynonna’s Classic Christmas Tour in 2010. You can also find out more about Wynonna in her upcoming novel “A Restless Heart” which, while she claims is fiction, is reported to be loosely based on her own childhood. And finally, Wynonna will be back in the studio next year to break ground on her follow-up album to “Sing: Chapter 1” for which she states “I may go traditional. I may decide to do blues. I may decide to do ’80s rock. I’m a work in progress.” . And THAT’S your Judds News today! Whew!Country Music Photo Gallery
