<p class="wp-block-paragraph">GRAMMY® Award-winner <strong><a title="Tim McGraw" href="https://stubhub.prf.hn/click/camref:1100ljXyr/pubref:WPSTMcGraw/ar:CMNBAutoLink/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stubhub.com%2Ftim-mcgraw-tickets%2F">Tim McGraw</a> </strong>is ushering in the holiday season with the release of <strong>“It Wasn’t His Child” </strong>today – <a href="https://COM.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=d603194f10cf782b3db0023cb&;id=073a671f86&;e=5b4625ebad" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">listen now</a>. McGraw first performed the Christmas standard at the 2003 Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo, Norway and most recently reprised it against a stunning holiday backdrop on this year’s CMA Country Christmas, which will re-air December 21 at 10/9c on ABC.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Originally written and performed by Skip Ewing, McGraw’s version was arranged and co-produced by his longtime band leader Danny Hemingson along with Steve Gibson and Byron Gallimore. “It Wasn’t His Child” has been a favorite song of McGraw’s for years.<br> <br>“It’s been a crazy year and we’ve worked hard to put out music, knowing how much it can mean and provide solace in difficult times,” McGraw says of the release. “This is our final chance to thank everyone for sticking with us this year and more importantly, provide some Christmas spirit to you this holiday season.”<br> <br>The release of “It Wasn’t His Child” caps off a 2020 for McGraw in which he released his 16<sup>th</sup> studio album <strong><em>Here On Earth</em></strong>, which marked his 4<sup>th</sup> straight decade with a #1 album on the Billboard Country Album chart. The album was his 19<sup>th</sup> worldwide #1 and his 17<sup>th</sup> U.S. #1, tying him for second most #1 albums in the U.S., just behind <a title="George Strait" href="https://stubhub.prf.hn/click/camref:1100ljXyr/pubref:WPSStrait/ar:CMNBAutoLink/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stubhub.com%2Fgeorge-strait-tickets%2F">George Strait</a>. His #1 GRAMMY-winning hit <strong>“Humble &; Kind”</strong> and his #1 single <strong>“Highway Don’t Care”</strong> were each certified triple platinum, moving his total career RIAA certifications to 76 million.<br> </p>
