<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Emerging country singer-songwriter <strong>Alex Stern</strong> has released her acoustic live performance for current single “<a href="https://t.e2ma.net/click/k4yovd/ojxsi1/cqux1v">The Choice</a>.” The “soul-baring” video, shot by Southbound Creative, premiered exclusively with <a href="https://t.e2ma.net/click/k4yovd/ojxsi1/sivx1v"><em>Sounds Like Nashville</em></a>who applauded “the simple but luminous visual performance.” The poignant track was written by Stern with Jake Anderson and premiered with <a href="https://t.e2ma.net/click/k4yovd/ojxsi1/8awx1v"><em>Wide Open Country</em></a>, who praised her for her ability to “explore the risk and reward of love.” </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Adding to the excitement, the New Mexico native will perform the National Anthem for the Albuquerque Public Schools virtual graduation ceremony on May 13, on the <a href="https://t.e2ma.net/click/k4yovd/ojxsi1/4vxx1v">APS Graduation website</a> and <a href="https://t.e2ma.net/click/k4yovd/ojxsi1/koyx1v">YouTube</a>. Other guests include Neil Patrick Harris (<em>How I Met Your Mother</em>) ;and Jesse Tyler Ferguson (<em>Modern Family</em>). ;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Last month, Stern and her family were inspired during the COVID-19 quarantine after watching Netflix’s Tiger King to have a themed dinner dressed as the cast. Their now viral <a href="https://t.e2ma.net/click/k4yovd/ojxsi1/0gzx1v">TikTok</a>, which has over 10 million views, caught the eyes of <a href="https://t.e2ma.net/click/k4yovd/ojxsi1/g9zx1v"><em>BuzzFeed</em></a>, <a href="https://t.e2ma.net/click/k4yovd/ojxsi1/w10x1v"><em>New York Post</em></a>,<em> </em><a href="https://t.e2ma.net/click/k4yovd/ojxsi1/cu1x1v"><em>INSIDER</em></a><em>, Barstool Sports</em> and more.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Stern is an artist who creates a wheelhouse all her own. With her Wild West roots in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Stern’s dynamic vocals, brazen songwriting, and classic country influences showcase both her true authenticity and raw talent. Her unapologetic honesty is already taking her incredible places. After being chosen as a vocalist to attend the GRAMMY Foundation’s GRAMMY Camp Los Angeles (2011) and Nashville (2012), Stern moved to Nashville to write and record full time. In 2018, she was selected to be a part of the CMT Artists Discovery Program; off the back of that, Stern premiered the music video for her single ‘Fingers Crossed’, which charted #1 on CMT&#8217;s Twelve Pack Countdown for three weeks in a row.
