Just out of high school, Warner Bros. recording artist Blake Shelton left Oklahoma to move to Nashville. Back home at only 16 years old, Shelton had received statewide focus when he won the Denbo Diamond Award, the top award for young Oklahoma entertainers. In Nashville, Shelton was able to get several material published with Naomi Martin Music, Warner/Chappell Music, and Jerry Crutchfield music. Shelton turned his songwriting into a successful recording in 2001 with his debut single, “Austin”; the song eventually spent five weeks at number one. “All Over Me” and “Ol’ Red” followed in 2002, allowing Shelton’s record to go gold. His star power was on the rise and Shelton was as busy as ever. He wasted no time recording a follow-up release. The Dreamer appeared in February 2003, hot on the heels of the Top Ten single “The Baby.” A third album, Blake Shelton’s Barn & Grill, was put forth in 2004, along with a DVD, Blake Shelton’s Barn & Grill: A Video Collection. In 2007 he put forth the cleverly titled Pure BS on Warner, came by Startin’ Fires in 2008.
Blake’s latest project is the release of a dual set of “six-packs”. Six tracks per CD at a slightly lower-than average price, including hit tracks like “Hillbilly Bone” featuring Trace Adkins. The “six pack” format bucks traditional album templates and sales models, while allowing fans to get new music more frequently.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Arena audiences can’t get enough of the Bellamy Brothers during Blake Shelton’s Friends and Heroes 2020 Tour, which kicked off in Portland, Oregon’s Moda Center and continued through Tacoma and Spokane, Washington this weekend. Fans of more than 15,000 roared into applause when the iconic duo commanded the arena venues as they strummed into their international hits “Let Your Love Flow” and “Redneck Girl” before they joined Blake Shelton, Trace Adkins and John Anderson on stage to perform “If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body (Would You Hold It Against Me)” during a stripped down guitar pull.

WARNER BROS./WMN’s BLAKE SHELTON and RYMAN HOSPITALITY PROPERTIES will celebrate the grand opening of their multi-level entertainment venue, OLE RED, on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 6th through SUNDAY, JUNE 10th during CMA FEST in NASHVILLE. Grand Ole Opry member Blake Shelton and Ryman Hospitality Properties, Inc. (NYSE: RHP) today announced plans to open a third Ole Red entertainment venue in the heart of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. With a planned opening in spring 2019, Ole Red Gatlinburg will be a $9 million, multi-level 16,000-square-foot entertainment venue with a two-story bar and restaurant, retail area, performance space, dance floor and exterior terrace. Its chef-driven, Shelton-inspired menu will feature a few Nashville classics like Hot Chicken & Waffles as well as BBQ, burgers and additional Southern favorites. Designed to embody the spirit of Shelton’s clever, irreverent hit “Ol’ Red,” the Ole Red brand is part of Ryman Hospitality Properties’ strategy to create digital content, retail products and entertainment venues that celebrate the country lifestyle and resonate with country music’s rapidly growing consumer base of more than 100 million people across the United States. Ryman Hospitality Properties Chairman and CEO, Colin Reed, said, “With 12 million annual visitors and a rich country music legacy, Gatlinburg is an ideal destination for the Ole Red brand. Ole Red Nashville includes a two-story bar and restaurant, retail area, performance space, dance floor, private event space, and a 6,000-square-foot rooftop with an indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant featuring panoramic views of Lower Broadway. Ole Red Gatlinburg and Ole Red Nashville join Ole Red Tishomingo, which opened in September of 2017 in Shelton’s hometown of Tishomingo, Okla. I would like to sincerely thank everyone in Gatlinburg who was involved in making this great venture possible.
