Ashland Craft Captivates Sold Out Crowd

It’s not often an opening artist steals the show in a sold out house, but this weekend that’s exactly what former Voice contestant Ashland Craft did at JJ’s Live in Fayetteville Arkansas as she opened for rising Red Dirt artist Ian Munsick.

In a show that was literally packed to the rafters, Ashland Craft won over the crowd with her raspy voice and sassy lyrics on songs like “Travelin Kind” and “Your Mamma Still Does” while reminding us all that all it takes is a story to tell and a single guitar to help set the tone. In a full set where she shared some of the heartbreak and happiness that comes with being a songwriter in this cutthroat industry, Ashland managed to make a room full of strangers feel like they were cheering on their new best friend, and she carried that energy all the way to the back of the room where she spent almost as much time meeting with fans and swapping stories from their lives and hers.

It’s clear that the connection between her and her fan is deeply personal on both sides, and that’s something you just can’t trick or buy in this business these days.

Take a listen to a snippet of her latest single “Danced With The Devil” available on streaming services everywhere March 10th!

You can catch Ashland Craft live on select dates of the Ian Munsick Long Live Cowgirls tour as well as at several festivals this summer. Visit https://ashlandcraft.com/ for dates and details!
