Diamond Rio and Charlie Daniels Band to Headline September Landfest Festival in Georgia

With the hope of giving fans something to look forward to amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Dailey & Vincent and the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds have announced today the full Artist lineup for their annual LandFest In The Mountains & On The Lakes music festival, presented by Springer Mountain Farms and celebrating the best of American music. The festival, which will return to Hiawassee, Ga. September 17-19, will be adapting to the “new normal” amidst health concerns – and the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds has guaranteed that it will refund all ticket buyers if the festival is unable to take place due to any government-mandated orders.

“The wellness of our fans is of paramount importance to us,” Dailey & Vincent said in a joint statement. “These times are trying times – we’re excited to give fans a ‘light at the end of the tunnel,’ while still taking care to prioritize their health and safety.”

This year’s festival will feature performances by the GRAMMY®-nominated group, along with headliners Charlie Daniels, Diamond Rio, Jimmy Fortune of the Statler Brothers, Dailey & Vincent, and a special 2-hour Salute to the Grand Ole Opry featuring Opry Stars Bill Anderson, Jeannie Seely, Dailey & Vincent, comedian Karen Mills, and hosted by the iconic and legendary Eddie Stubs. The lineup is rounded out by the Booth Brothers, Bradley Walker, Mike Snider, the Gibson Brothers, the Malpass Brothers, and the winner of Dailey & Vincent’s annual LandFest Online Band Contest will also join the lineup.

Each year, Dailey & Vincent curate the festival lineup in much the same way they’ve developed their career over the last decade; delivering music fans an evolved combination of “the best of bluegrass, country and gospel this side of heaven” (USA Today), what the band defines as American Music. Their unique marriage of genres has made them three-time GRAMMY® nominees in country, bluegrass, and for a gospel record, earned them membership with the prestigious Grand Ole Opry, garnered nine #1 country, bluegrass and gospel Billboard charting records, and helped launch their national weekly television series The Dailey & Vincent Show, now in its fourth year on RFD-TV.

ABOUT DAILEY & VINCENT:
Grand Ole Opry Members, five-time GRAMMY® award winners individually, three-time GRAMMY® award nominees collectively, four-time DOVE Award winners and winners of 35 IBMA Awards altogether (including 3-time IBMA Entertainer of the Year Award winners and 3-Time Vocal Group of the Year Award winners), Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent (and their world-class band) offer a unique and modernized spin on ‘American music’ – an “electric combination of country and bluegrass” (Billboard) – the duo has played across the globe, taking the stage at iconic venues including the Ryman Auditorium and Carnegie Hall. Now on Season 3 of their nationally broadcast television series, “The Dailey & Vincent Show on RFD-TV,” Dailey & Vincent bring their music to a national audience on a weekly basis. After a decade spent performing together and with over 1,000 airings of their PBS special “Dailey & Vincent ALIVE – In Concert,” their concoction of fantastically instinctive vocal blends of Dailey’s tenor and Vincent’s reedy harmonies has gained them well-deserved praise for their own distinctive style and worldwide recognition as American Music gold. Dailey & Vincent’s latest release of their first-ever Christmas album, “Dailey & Vincent: The Sounds of Christmas” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Bluegrass chart and No. 8 on the Billboard Holiday Chart, landing right behind Michael Bublé and Pentatonix as the only country, bluegrass and gospel act in the Top Ten.

CMT World Premieres Joe Hanson’s “Part Of Me” Music Video

After continued success with the release of his single “Part Of Me,” country singer/songwriter Joe Hanson is ready to release the music video to go along with it. CMT world premiered the video yesterday on their CMT Music channel and online, in which Hanson is reminiscing about an old flame while grappling with past memories. This uptempo, pop-infused melody underlines the lyrics as he sings about having the desire to move on, while questioning that thought at the same time. Stream and download “Part of Me” here.
