Brantley Gilbert Announces Baby Boy With A Blast!

Brantley and Amber Gilbert Baby Gender Reveal on Country Music News Blog!

Brantley Gilbert has never seemed like much of a traditionalist, so when it came time to let friends and family know the gender of his and wife Amber’s coming first born, of course he thought outside of the box! Surrounded by around 40 of his closest friends and relatives, Brantley carefully loaded a rifle, took aim at a specially loaded Tannerite target in the distance, and fired. The moment the resulting cloud of blue smoke came bellowing up, cheers and tears started flowing all around! “Everybody was crying,” Gilbert exclusively told People Magazine about the reaction. “I turned around, and I think that’s when it hit me that everybody’s wanted this for us as much as we did for so long. When the blue cloud went up, well, that made it even more real. Now we know it’s a little boy, and he’s going to have to get ready for a whole lot of love.” “It seemed like a fun, different way to do the reveal,” says the man with the back-to-back platinum albums of shooting the target “about the size of a beef jerky container” packed with powder. “And it felt like something that I’d really do. But I don’t think any of us thought we would get so emotional.” Read more about Brantley Gilbert’s big baby gender reveal from our friends at People Country!

Hosted by LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen, Lip Sync Battle pits celebrities in a head-to-head fight to see who can deliver the most outrageous and entertaining lip-synched performance. Lynch and Pope will each take the stage twice in eye-popping, choreographed routines as they pretend to sing classic hit songs. The audience will then pick a winner. The show first began as a much-loved bit on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, and has since become a broadcast and viral sensation. In other news, Lynch hosted his third annual hometown concert in Tullahoma, Tennessee, on December 6, taking the stage with fellow songwriters Jim Collins, David Lee Murphy and Corey Crowder and raising $17,237 for local charities. Explaining that it’s easy to forget those who need help, even in tight-knit small towns, Lynch donated the money to local children’s charities Horse Play Inc. and 5Loaves4Kids, and collected a pile of Christmas gifts for the Tullahoma Fire Department’s Toys for Tots drive. Lynch’s profile continues to rise on the national stage, as he’ll be the featured supporting artist on country megastars Florida Georgia Line’s upcoming DIG YOUR ROOTS TOUR, which kicks off in January of 2017. Meanwhile, the sizzling Top 15-and-rising first single from Lynch’s third studio album, “SEEIN’ RED,” has been released to rave reviews and is already a hit with fans, with Rolling Stone praising Lynch’s vocals as “one of his most soulful and assured to date” and Taste of Country proclaiming the song “unapologetically sexy.” It follows the three-peat GOLD and PLATINUM success of singles “Where It’s At,” “Hell of a Night” and “Mind Reader” from his sophomore album, WHERE IT’S AT, and an equally steamy music video for the track was recently released. Wicked Love Starts Production in Oklahoma

“WICKED LOVE” STARTS PRODUCTION IN OKLAHOMA The Oklahoma Film + Music Office (OF+MO), with producers Kristofer McNeeley of Marvista Entertainment and Stacia Crawford of SaigeBelle Films, is pleased to announce the start of production of the feature film “Wicked Love” in Oklahoma City and Guthrie, Oklahoma. The film is utilizing the Oklahoma Film Enhancement Rebate Program, administered by OF+MO, and will commence principal photography on July 25, 2016. Executive Producer Kristofer McNeeley is returning to his home state of Oklahoma after producing the film Great Plains, which utilized the Oklahoma Film Enhancement Rebate Program in the fall of 2015. “I’m thrilled to return with our next film and to be embraced by the strong community of filmmakers once again,” said McNeeley. “As long as the state continues to offer the film incentive program and the creative talent supports us bringing work back, we will be there to support and do our part to grow the film and television industry in Oklahoma. It’s simply a spectacular place to work.” “Wicked Love”, a dark and quirky contemporary reimagining of the Shakespearean classic the saga of “MACBETH”, is told from the point of view of Missy, the oft-misunderstood Lady MacBeth, and shows how love, passion and ambition should never be underestimated. The film is directed by Conor Allyn and marks his third feature with MarVista Entertainment.  “We are excited to bring ‘Wicked Love’ to Oklahoma, a perfect fit for the high school football setting of our film. The community has been instrumental in helping to bring our story from page to screen; between the authentic locations, the crew, and overall support, we felt that there was no better place for us to film in than Oklahoma,” says producer, Stacia Crawford. That sentiment is echoed by Allyn, who is originally from Dallas and is thrilled to be filming so close to his home state.   “Wicked Love” was written by Conor and Jake Allyn, is being lensed by Adrian Correia, and stars Morgan Taylor Campbell, Michael Grant, Donny Boaz, Damon Carney and Larry Jack Dotson. The production is being managed by Sean Patrick Eaton, and the crew is comprised mostly of Oklahoma residents.   “The production of ‘Wicked Love’ marks Kristofer McNeeley’s second feature film to be produced in Oklahoma in less than a year,” said OF+MO Director Tava Maloy Sofsky. “The longevity of the Oklahoma Film Enhancement Rebate Program is necessary to attract producers such as McNeeley who have a number of potential productions which ultimately provide Oklahoma’s crew and film services on-going job and business opportunities.”

The Cains Release New Original Holiday Track, “Merry Christmas To You”

(Nashville, Tenn. – Nov. 16, 2015) – In spirit of the holiday, The Cains have released a new seasonal song, titled “Merry Christmas To You.” The original, thoughtful ballad, which was written by Billy Lawson and Ed Hill, as well as produced by Billy Lawson, is about missing a loved one during the holiday season. Madison Cain commented, “When you think of Christmas songs, you think of joy, family and everything merry and bright. But for so many people, Christmas isn’t perfect. Relationships have been severed and the most wonderful time of the year often brings its own sting. We hope this song encourages people to reach out, make the call they’ve been putting off, or write a letter—it’s never too late to say ‘I love you.’” The song is already available at digital outlets such as iTunes and Amazon, and will be distributed to Country radio. The talented siblings have had a busy year with the release of their self-titled EP, which includes the lead single “Journeys End;” a sentimental ballad about love, family and hope that is currently airing on Country radio and spent over four months on Sirius XM’s The Highway playlist. The EP was written by The Cains – Madison, Logan and Taylor Cain – and also features other writer credits including Jaida Dreyer, Stephony Smith, Billy Lawson, Ed Hill, Becki Devries and Dave Thompson. The Cains was produced/mixed by Daniel Agee and is now available on iTunes, Amazon and other major digital retailers. In addition to the EP, The Cains have been touring the U.S. and the U.K. In March 2015, The Cains broke onto the U.K. Country music scene with their first international appearance at London’s Country to Country (C2C) festival, Europe’s largest and most well-attended Country music event of the year, and have since returned as the opening act for Sasha McVeigh’s I Stand Alone U.K. tour, opening on select dates that took them to London, Glasgow, Oxford, Manchester and more.
