Sarah Darling’s Home To Me Succeeds

Sarah Darling’s Single, “Home To Me,” Is The Highest New Female Digital Single Debut In Over A Year. The August 21st digital release of Sarah Darling’s upcoming single, “Home To Me,” marks the top selling digital single by a new female artist since American Idol season ten runner-up Lauren Alaina and her debut single, “Like My Mother Does,” in May of 2011. Selling over 8,000 units in the first week, “Home To Me” was written by Caitlyn Smith & Bobby Hamrick and will be released to radio this fall. Currently playing on SiriusXM’s The Highway, “Home To Me” is a breezy mid-tempo track that takes the listener on a lyrical journey comparing her love interest to the beauty of America’s landscape as she finds “home” in that person. Scheduled for release in 2013, “Home To Me” is the lead single from Sarah’s upcoming album with producer Dann Huff (Keith Urban, Brantley Gilbert, Hunter Hayes, Rascal Flatts). Yahoo! On August 16, at the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia, MO, Colt Ford and his good buddy Jake Owen gave their fans a special treat performing “Back,” together for the first time. The new single, with Owen singing the poignant chorus on the track, can be found on Ford’s No.1 charting fourth studio album, Declaration of Independence. “Back” with Owen has reached over 100k digital downloads and has climbed into the Top 50 on the Mediabase charts. HaleighT Caught Up With Steel Magnolia Before They Hit The Stage In Arkansas! Last night Steel Magnolia graced the stage as part of the Washington County Fair in Fayetteville, Ar! Meghan and Josh’s performance really impressed me…with his enthusiasm and energy on stage and her undeniably gifted voice, how could they not?! I was particularly impressed by “Edge Of Goodbye,” their cover of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill‘s “I Need You” and of course “Keep On Lovin’ You.” They gave us a taste of some of the new stuff they are working on in “You’re On My Mind” and “Whiskey Anthem,” then ended the show with “Jackson!” Before the show I had a chance to talk with them about their recent projects, including a new album and cancer benefit they are working with. This performance was to celebrate the grand opening of the newest Cabela’s store in his home state. The actual opening of Rogers’ Cabela’s was this morning, at 9am! Heidi Newfield Will Be Headlining The 15th Annual Buds-N-Suds Music Festival! Heidi Newfield will headline The 15th Annual Buds-n-Suds Music Festival Presented by The Big 98 WSIX on Wednesday, September 15 at Loser’s Bar and Grill in Nashville. The outdoor benefit concert supports the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) Tennessee Chapter. Joining the outdoor party along with Newfield, includes full-band performances by The Big Rock Show, Keith Anderson, El Camino (feat. Jon Nicholson & Shannon Lawson,) Capitol recording artist Kelleigh Bannen, Jared Blake from The Voice, and Johnny T, plus Dee Jay Silver mixing his specialty mash-ups to keep the party flowing. A silent auction will be on hand to include a vast selection of autographed memorabilia from notable musicians, athletes and other celebrities. A special early bird ticket can be purchased online at budsnsuds.com for a discounted donation price of $10 until August 31. Starting September 1 advanced ticket donations will be $15 and day of show at the Loser’s Bar and Grill for a $20 donation.
