Luke Bryan Unveils Live Version of New Song “Dirt Road Diary”. Two weeks ago, much to our delight over here at CMNB, Luke Bryan announced his first ever headlining tour, Dirt Road Diaries 2013 Tour! Then earlier this week his crew released a video from his 2012 Farm Tour performing the song that inspired the tour’s name. Its an acoustic version without a whole lot of fuss, and I’m gonna be honest, I already love it! It doesn’t hurt either that there are some great lyrical tidbits in this song like “cotton field memories” and “dixieland delight“, No doubt that this one is gonna be yet another hit for Bryan! Amber Hayes Releases Sophomore Album, Any Day is a Good Day. Following the success of 2010’s C’mon, Amber Hayes releases her second collection of hits, Any Day is a Good Day. The collection features seven original songs, three written by Amber. The title track is already becoming a favorite. “I was really excited when we finished writing ‘Any Day Is A Good Day,’ because it has such a positive, encouraging message. WATCH: Taylor Swift Releases Video for Begin Again Off New Album Red. Taylor Swift released her brand new and highly anticipated album, Red earlier this week (check out my complete review!), and in the onslaught of all things Taylor, she has debuted a new music video for track, “Begin Again“. This track is easily one of the more low key, and *almost* country songs off the new album, and the imagery is definitely more mature than what we saw in her pop-ish “We Never Ever Getting Back Together” video. Montgomery Gentry Releases New EP, Friends and Family. Montgomery Gentry has released their EP, Friends and Family. It consists of four tracks, including their current single, “I’ll Keep The Kids.” “I’ll Keep The Kids,” is a very emotional and honest song that unfortunately many will, and already have, relate to. It speaks of the struggles of a nasty divorce and how people can get greedy and not realize what is important in life. “Ain’t Out of the Woods Yet” was also released on Colt Ford’s album, Declaration of Independence. Also on the EP is “Where I Come From” (remix featuring Colt Ford) and “Good Ol’ Boys.”

Hayden Panettiere Hopes to Record Full Length Country Music Album. Hayden Panettiere is currently starring alongside Connie Britton on ABC’s hit new drama, Nashville, as the young, conniving and emotionally damaged pop country singer we love to hate, Juliette Barnes. So far, she’s already had to sing a couple of times for the role, and it looks like she wants to do a lot more of it! Hayden recently shared with US Weekly that she’d love to record a full country record! “I recorded an album when I was younger, and I always said that if I was going to go back to music, I would do country. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.” -Hayden Panettiere Like many young starlets, Hayden already has a background in music/recording in addition to her acting chops with credits on Disney soundtracks like Ice Princess and Disney Girlz Rock. She even released her own pop single in 2008 titled “Wake Up Call“. It’s super poppy stuff, but based on her performance on Nashville, I think Hayden could offer up a pretty decent country album.
