Miranda Lambert Joins New Husband Blake Shelton on The Voice. Miranda Lambert will be making a special guest appearance on the season finale of NBC‘s hit competition series The Voice which airs this Wednesday, June 29th at 8pm ET. She is set to perform with finalist Dia Frampton who (what a coincidence!) is tutored by Blake Shelton, one of the four coaches featured on the show. Miranda is definitely pleased to be joining her new hubby on the show! “I am thrilled to perform on my favorite new show. It’s been a joy watching my husband grow so attached to his team. Truthfully, I am a little jealous that I am not a coach myself. I can’t wait to be a part of it.” -Miranda Lambert There are three other remaining finalists, Javier Colon, Beverly McClellan, and Vicci Martinez, who will perform will perform during the Tuesday, June 28th show, and the winner will be announced during the Wednesday night finale. If you haven’t jumped on The Voice train yet, you might as well at least catch the finale and see Miranda’s performance!

Miranda Lambert’s Pistol Annies Signs

Miranda Lambert’s Side Project The Pistol Annies Signs Record Contract. Miranda Lambert announced earlier this year she would be adding a side project, also known as The Pistol Annies, to her already lucrative career. The Pistol Annies is an all-girl musical trio formed by Lambert and also includes Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley. The group may have just been a fun venture, but now it looks like things are getting serious. Lambert announced at a recent performance in Chicago that The Pistol Annies have officially signed a recording contract. At the same performance the group performed a number of songs including Boys From the South. It is being speculated they have signed with Sony, Miranda’s label, but no confirmation has been made on a specific label yet. No word so far on when fans can expect an album release, but the group will be offering a little taste of what’s to come with an iTunes release of the song Hell on Wheels next week.

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are tying the knot TODAY! After much excited anticipation, word has finally come out that Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert‘s wedding will be held today at an undisclosed location in Texas. More details, pictures and tasty tidbits will be added to this announcement as they come to light. Here’s what we know so far: The wedding was held at Don Strange Ranch near Boerne, Texas, a community located approximately 45 minutes from San Antonio Blake will be wearing a sharp coat, blue jeans and cowboy boots. Miranda will be wearing her mother’s wedding dress. Miranda has been on an all meat and veggie diet to prepare for the dress… no potatoes or mayo here! Miranda’s ring is platinum and diamonds. Dierks Bentley will be in attendance as he just facebooked “adios jägermeister country tour. me and the boys had a blast. one last pic. headed to a wedding. see ya! “. Reba and husband Narvel will also be in attendance as well as Martina McBride, the Bellamy Brothers, Charles Kelley and CeeLo Green. Neal McCoy will be performing at the reception. Miranda’s bachelorette party was held at the Kentucky Derby, while Blake opted for an all-guy camping trip. Venison will be served at the reception, and rumor has it, Miranda hunted the deer herself. There was a total of 550 guests No word yet on the planned honeymoon location, but Blake will be back on stage with Reba in just ten short days for the disaster relief concert benefiting Oklahoma tornado victims.

Miranda Lambert’s New All Girl Trio: Pistol Annies. Miranda Lambert spoke openly earlier this month about her venture: an all girl trio! The Pistol Annies features Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe, and they will have their debut performance on CBS, Friday April 22nd on ACM’s Girls’ Night Out television special. Not to fret Miranda fans, she will not be abandoning her solo career, but will simply be adding to it! Miranda is fulfilling the desire to work with an all girl group while channeling some excess creative energy! “They’re both artists on their own and they’re great friends of mine. We’ve just been writing songs like crazy, and I always wanted to do a girl project. It’s not your typical girl trio. We definitely have an edge. Top Female Country Artists to Preform on ACM Girls’ Night Out! Top female country artists give a not to be missed show on CBS Friday, April 22nd at 9 PM ET/PT, 7 Central! ACM’s Girls’ Night Out: Superstar Women of Country will feature Jennifer Nettles, Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood and The Judds. The ladies will be joined by special guests that will take this show above and beyond. Ronnie Dunn will join Jennifer Nettles, the soon to be married Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert will share the stage, Rascal Flatts rocks with Reba, Little Big Town and Martina McBride collaborate, Vince Gill and Carrie Underwood light up the stage, and the rock legend John Fogerty will join The Judds. Miranda Lambert will also introduce her upcoming female group Pistol Annie. Each woman will be honored for an achievement from their career. Miranda Lambert Develops Drama Show for TV! Miranda Lambert is adding television show producer to her long list of accomplishments! Of course, we already know Miranda from when she first hit the scene with “Kerosene” and hopefully no one missed the ACMs Sunday night, which she conquered, picking up four awards including “Song of the Year” for “The House That Built Me“. So, now she’s moving on over to television! Based on events from Miranda’s childhood in Texas, the show is an hour-long drama for ABC Family and will center around a family whose parents are private investigators with the children helping out. Country’s newest power-couple have announced the date for their upcoming wedding! Miranda Lambert recently graced the cover of Cowboys & Indians magazine, in which she proudly announced that she will be tying the knot with Blake Shelton on Saturday May 14th, 2011. The ceremony will be held in a yet-undisclosed location somewhere in Oklahoma. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Blake Shelton dishes the dirt on the wedding of the year! Blake Shelton revealed to E! Entertainment News that at least one rumor about his upcoming wedding to Entertainer of the Year, Miranda Lambert. After attending a Neil McCoy concert, the couple became determined to have him perform at their wedding,and according to Blake, they managed to nab him. Blake and Miranda’s wedding is expected to take place in May, and though no other details are confirmed, we doubt they’ll be quite as double-O-seven about things as last year’s princess, Miss Carrie Underwood.
