Country Music Hall of Famer Charlie Daniels of Wilmington North Carolina has sadly passed from this world today.
Daniels’ publicist, Don Murray Grubbs, confirmed he died Monday morning after a hemorrhagic stroke, the Tennessean reported. He died at a hospital in Hermitage, Tennessee, according to The Associated Press.
Arrangements for Daniels’ funeral and memorial services will be announced in the coming days, although a small private family affair is to be expected at first due to coronavirus restrictions, while a larger celebrity tribute may follow.
Daniels is survived by his wife, Hazel, and his son, Charlie Daniels Jr.
