Jeff Bridges Signs Record Deal

Jeff Bridges Signs with Blue Note Records.

Oscar winning actor and talented musician Jeff Bridges has signed with EMI’s Blue Note Records with a new album due out this summer. Bridges has been all over the map talent wise for years, but you probably would recognize him from his most recent films, Crazy Heart, in which he played a downtrodden country singer and True Grit in which he is featured as a tough time-worn U.S. Marshall in the days of the old west.

He will be collaborating on his new album with T-Bone Burnett with whom he has been working for many years.

“It’s a relationship that’s really inflamed my music.” Bridges says of his partnership with Burnett

Indeed, the two worked on the soundtrack for Crazy Heart together and Burnett won an Oscar for “Best Original Song” for “The Weary Kind“.

Bridges was recently featured on a documentary series produced by PBS, American Masters. You can click here to check out Jeff Bridges: The Dude Abides here.
