Top 10 4th Of July Songs

The Best Songs To Hear While Showing Some American Pride ! First off this is just my opinion, there hasn’t been an official vote or anything, they are just all some of my favorites. Second, they aren’t all country. I know this is Country Music News Blog, but some of these songs are just too good for me not to mention them. So here it goes… 1. Only In America – Brooks & Dunn 2. American Girl – Tom Petty 3. 4th Of July – Shooter Jennings 4. The Fightin’ Side Of Me – Merle Haggard 5. Where The Stars & Stripes & The Eagle Fly – Aaron Tippin 6. American Child – Phil Vassar 7. Made In America – Toby Keith 8. America – Waylon Jennings 9. American Pie – Don McLean 10. God Bless The USA – Lee Greenwood Now this doesn’t mean I don’t like others, “If You’re Reading This“, “Have You Forgotten“, and “Letters From Home“, are also some favorites but I decided to keep the list as happy and upbeat as possible. I wouldn’t want a tear jerker thrown in the middle if you were to make a playlist off of this small lineup. What are some of your favorites? We want to know! I hope everyone has a FANTASTIC weekend! Have fun, stay safe and remember what the day is about! All of us at CMNB also want to thank all those HEROES out there that let us live life the way we do, FREE!. Alan Jackson Plays Show For Colorado Wildfire Relief

Alan Jackson Does His Part To Help During The Colorado Wildfires. Last week Alan Jackson played the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Recognizing the devastation the state of Colorado is currently experiencing with wildfires, Jackson expressed his support by partnering with AEG and KYGO/Denver to offer front row reserved tickets at a special premium price – all proceeds were donated to the Denver Foundation (the state’s oldest and largest community foundation) for use by the Colorado Wildfire Relief Fund created and designated by the governor. KYGO announced the tickets were available on the morning of show (Thursday, June 28) and within hours, several thousand dollars were raised. “It’s just the saddest thing. I’m just heart broke about all the fires out here. We really appreciate all the great people that have been helping them out here. They sold some of the seats down here on a special deal to try and raise some money to help fight that battle – whoever bought those, that was mighty nice of y’all and I really appreciate it.” -Jackson told the crowd during the performance. Donations for wildfire disaster relief efforts can be made by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS or by visiting the Colorado chapter’s website at www.coloradoredcross.org Photo below by Scott Scovill.

Kip Moore New Single-Beer Money

Kip Moore Set To Release His New Single, “Beer Money.” Kip Moore is set to release his new single, “Beer Money,” July 9. This is the follow up to his very successful “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck,” which spent two weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart. He will be performing his hit tomorrow on NBC’s Today Show for their 4th of July episode. Moore had a hand in writing every song on Up All Night, including “Beer Money,” which he co-wrote with Blair Daly and Troy Verges. “Blair Daly said, ‘I’ve got this title ‘Beer Money,’ but I don’t know exactly what to do with it.’ We laughed and joked around about the idea. I know where I grew up in South Georgia, nobody had any money in high school. That is what the weekends were about: there was nowhere to go and there were no clubs, so it was all about who has the money to come up with the beer and where can we go.” -Moore. “It was the same thing in college: you are holding out spending money on food so that you’ve got enough money that weekend to go to the beer store and have a good time. I think that is the way small-town America still is everywhere.” -Moore continues. Take my advice, the song is great! To get a full review of his entire album by Miss Molly click here! Moore has been pretty busy touring, performing his own shows and joining Billy Currington and David Nail on the road. He will also be joining Eric Church on his Blood, Sweat and Beers Tour in the fall!
