Patsy Cline Exhibit At Country Music Hall Of Fame

New Patsy Cline Exhibit Coming To Country Music Hall of Fame. One of country music’s greatest female singers, Patsy Cline, is getting her own brand new exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame! The exhibit is going to be placing an emphasis on Cline’s childhood and how she came to be the Patsy Cline despite hardships. So, we’ll get to see the woman behind all that great music we grew up listening to. “…will not only explore Patsy’s musical contributions, but will also offer visitors a look at the woman behind the songs, the firecracker who overcame childhood hardships to emerge as one of the most important artists of the 20th century.” -Kyle Young, Museum Director I for one love to see the women in country music getting this kind of attention, and I am sure this will be a fascinating exhibit! Will you check it out?

Dustin Lynch Cowboys And Angels Video

Here Is The Official Music Video For Dustin Lynch’s Single, “Cowboys and Angels.” Dustin Lynch hit the jackpot with “Cowboys and Angels.” It seems every time I turn around I hear someone singing this song or read it as someone’s latest Facebook or Twitter status. Well, who can blame ’em? The song is an easy listen and tells a story that many people “want” to relate to. If you haven’t heard this song yet, well then you might have been under a rock. Lee Ann Womak Reveals New Music to Fans! Rumor has it that Lee Ann Womak is getting ready to release some new music! She has been working in the studio with her husband, Frank Liddel, who is also her producer (convenient, right?). “It’s funny. Frank and I just never seemed to really get around to working together, beyond those few tracks on I Hope You Dance. We both love music so much in so many ways, we really challenged each other in the best way!” – Lee Ann Womak Womak hasn’t really let that many details slip about the new work, but she’ll be giving her fans an earful pretty soon! She has made plans to showcase some of the new tunes on May 26th with the Lee Ann Womack’s Country Music Appreciation Society & Social Club during a rehearsal for an upcoming show at Biloxi’s IP Resort & Casino. Colt Ford’s Declaration Of Independence Tour

The Bands Talk About Life On The DOI 2012 Tour! As you may have heard, Colt Ford has got one of the craziest (and I mean that in a good way) tours hitting the pavement right now! The Declaration of Independence Tour 2012 has got a full Average Joe’s Entertainment line-up ready and excited to play for you! Colt Ford, JB and the Moonshine Band, The LACS, Lenny Cooper and Rehab (on select dates) are caravanning all over the country to bring fans the loudest, most rocking, country show that they possibly can! I was lucky enough to catch them in Fort Smith, AR last weekend where they played at the Phoenix Expo Center. While there I watched the acoustic pre-show, talked to each of the bands and took in all of the full performances on the main stage! I asked each band what their favorite part of this tour was and this is what a couple of them had to say… “All the great people on the tour. Colt’s an awesome guy, he’s fun to hang out with and he puts on a great show!” -Brian “Rooster” King, The LACS “It’s kind of like when you had a sleep over when you were little, except it don’t end. You have it every weekend on tour, it’s fun!” – Clay “Uncle Snap” Sharp, The LACS “To me it’s seeing the different places. We’ve been all over.” -Chris Flores, JB and the Moonshine Band The tour has plenty more stops in the future, not seeing an end in sight until June! Everyone take a look at the schedule and clear your calendar because this is a show you don’t want to miss. It is a show for all ages and that is something that Colt is very passionate about! “I wanted to go to smaller towns that a lot of big artists don’t go to. I wanted to go out and play for the folks that have supported me. I kind of did it because they told me I couldn’t.” -Colt Ford Well, he did it! The show that I saw was spot on from start to finish! Everyone with the Average Joe’s Entertainment family is great at what they do…from the tour managers, to the bands, to the owner of the label! I didn’t see a single fan who wasn’t having a good time. In fact, roughly 90% of the crowd was constantly dancing and singing along. The other 10% was split between the bathroom and drink lines. The next show for this tour will be Friday, May 11 in Vidalia, LA! Here is the official add for the tour!

Team Blake Wins The Voice

Jermaine Paul Is The Season 2 Winner Of The Voice! Although Jermaine Paul is not a country artist, his coach Blake Shelton, is through and through! On last night’s finale episode on NBC Paul took first over Juliet Simms (Team CeeLo), Tony Lucca (Team Adam) and Chris Mann (Team Christina). We would like to give the hugest round of applause possible for Jermaine and Shufflin’ Shelton! With Jermaine’s powerhouse-of-a-voice and Blake’s pure confidence, this team member is no longer a backup singer! Below is a video of the coach and team member giving fans a very soulful version of “Soul Man” that is sure to get you in the mood to groove! Below that is a heartfelt performance by Jermaine to Shelton singing his coaches hit, “God Gave Me You.” Congrats again to the success of everyone who was a part of this season!

Zac Brown Band No Hurry Video

Zac Brown Band Releases Video for Single, No Hurry. Zac Brown Band is a great example of a group that is phenomenal live, and so, it is fitting that their last couple of video releases have featured concert footage, latest release “No Hurry” included! The video mixes up this concert footage with some behind-the-scenes style shots of the band cavorting around, providing fans a glimpse inside the ZBB way of life. Paired with the I’m-not-gonna-worry-about-it message of the lyrics, we get a pretty good idea of what exactly that way of life entails, and it looks pretty dang fun to me. Check it out below, and see if you agree! Watch No Hurry Here! [youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZBR0yh3CO4]

Bucky Covington I Wanna Be That Feeling Video

Bucky Covington Releases Video for “I Wanna Be That Feeling”! Bucky Covington has released the video for his most recent single, “I Wanna Be That Feeling“! This single might be my favorite of Bucky’s musical releases so far. It mixes his country and his rock sides in a really balanced way. You get that good country music feeling with just a little bit of a rock edge to it, mostly coming from Covington’s delightfully gravelly voice. The video, directed by Kristin Barlowe perfectly captures the themes of the lyrics, and I think this is definitely going to be one of my go to I-just-need-a-three-minute-video-break songs of the summer! Check it out below, and let me know what you think! Watch “I Wanna Be That Feeling”! [youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tj6P7nVOUfM]
