In early 2020, at the height of police brutality and BLM protests, the country music band Lady Antebellum sparked controversy when they decided to change their name to Lady A. Their aim was to distance themselves from the racial connotations associated with the term “Antebellum” and present a more inclusive image. This was one of many moves in the country music world to remove outdated and racially-connotative terms from the predominately white genre.

Paramount Network now airing full season of 1883: A YELLOWSTONE ORIGIN STORY with extended featurettes starting this Sunday, June 18th at 8PM ET/PT The full season of the award-winning limited series, 1883: A Yellowstone Origin Story, will air weekly on Paramount Network and simulcast on CMT beginning Sunday, June 18 at 8PM ET/PT with a back-to back premiere of Episodes 1 and 2. The special broadcast will include extended featurettes at the end of each episode. In addition to CMT, Comedy Central, MTV, TV Land and Pop will additionally simulcast the first two episodes this Sunday.
