Taylor Swift Cleans Up 2012 Teen Choice Awards with Five Wins!
Taylor Swift won five awards at the fan voted 2012 Teen Choice Awards in California last night! She received awards in categories competing with both country stars and stars from multiple other genres including Choice Female Artist, Single by a Female Artist for “Eyes Open”, Female Country Artist, Country Song for “Sparks Fly” and (weird category, here) Movie Voice for playing Audrey in Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax. This round of wins sets Taylor as the record holder for most Teen Choice Awards…ever…with twenty total.
Gracious as always, Swift’s Facebook status this morning read: “5 Teen Choice Awards?! I’m so happy I’m so happy I’m so happy I’m so happy I’m so happy– thank you so much for voting!”
