Brown Band’s Southern Ground Music & Food Festival Big Hit at Nashville Debut!
It is easy for me to say that Zac Brown Band is my personal favorite country music group, and it is hard for me to say that I missed out on the debut Southern Ground Music & Food Festival that took Nashville, TN by storm for two days on September 21st and September 22nd!
I would have given anything to be one of the 15,000 fans that joined in on the weekend’s festivities, enjoying Live music on two stages from ZBB and special guests Gregg Allman, Sheryl Crow, John Mayer, Alan Jackson and Dwight Yoakam plus more stellar artists like David Gray, Amos Lee, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, The Lumineers, Southern Ground Artists Nic Cowan, Blackberry Smoke, Levi Lowrey and others!
Besides amaaaaazing music, the lucky festival attendees also got to sample food from Zac Brown’s own mobile kitchen “Cookie” and other food trucks including Biscuit Love, Riff’s Fine Street Food, Bistro Truck and Delta Bound. Great music? Great food? Fall weather? You better believe that I will be there in 2013 when the festival returns to Nashville. In the meantime, I will live vicariously through the highlight reel below. Join me, won’t you?
