About HaleighT

She works with CMNB as our field assignment journalist, gathering concert reviews and exclusive interviews from every artist she can. Top 10 Graduation Songs

The Top 10 Songs For Graduation Celebrations! As you all know, the CMNB team loves summertime (we’ve been writing and dreaming about all of our adventures for months now!). And although there is an exact calendar date for the start of the season, there are many unofficial starts to it as well! For students, the one and most holy of those is the end of a school year! For seniors, whether it is high school or college, that last day of school (and passing grades) means graduation! In honor of this (and my recent obsession with Top 10s) I have come up with another list! So everybody get the tissues ready, as you (or your family member) embark on another life journey! Congratulations to all graduates (especially the ones from Sallisaw!). Good luck on all of your future plans!!! Top 10 Graduation Songs 1. I Hope You Dance – Lee Ann Womack 2. My Wish – Rascal Flatts 3. Here’s To You – Eli Young Band (fit this into my high school graduation speech) 4. I’m Not Gonna Cry – Corey Smith 5. Don’t Blink – Kenny Chesney 6. Don’t Forget To Remember Me – Carrie Underwood 7. Laughed Until We Cried – Jason Aldean 8. The River – Garth Brooks 9. You’re Gonna Miss This – Trace Adkins 10. I’ve Got Friends In Low Places – Garth Brooks (If you were part of my graduating class) As a BONUS…Graduation – Vitamin C. It isn’t country, but it is one of the most common songs used at graduations and I just couldn’t find it in me to leave it off the list.

Thomas Rhett Something To Do With My Hands Video

Thomas Rhett’s Official Music Video For “Something To Do With My Hands!” Thomas Rhett’s “Something To Do With My Hands” is quite the catchy tune if I say so myself. It’s upbeat and he has a pretty distinctive voice that adds that certain bit of charm that draws people in. At first glance one might think he was a younger Eric Church (with his dark hair and hat), but no, he is an up-and-comer ready to prove himself! Following in his father’s (Rhett Akins) songwriting footsteps, he had a song on Jason Aldean’s album My Kinda Party, “I Ain’t Ready To Quit.” The video is one of the cutest things I’ve seen in a while. Trying to impress a group of girls, he seems to fall flat until he pulls out his golden ticket, his ability to perform! I suggest you watch the video now!

Top 10 Summer Fling Songs

The Top 10 “Summer Fling” Country Songs According To HaleighT! It’s that time of year again, a time that we all love…Summertime! School years are coming to an end, the days are longer and hotter and at night there is a feeling in the air that gets people all hyped up! We all know the clichés about ditching the serious relationships and having a few flings over the summer and apparently so do the songwriters. Here I have put together one of my Top 10 lists that is dedicated to those special people who make your summer worthwhile! This is one of the hardest Top 10’s I’ve done in a while. So…I decided this is just part one! Be looking for another Top 10 Summer Fling list later on! Until then, ENJOY! Top 10 1. Drunk On You – Luke Bryan 2. What Was I Thinkin’ – Dierks Bentley 3. I Don’t Want This Night To End – Luke Bryan 4. Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck – Kip Moore 5. Barefoot Blue Jean Night – Jake Owen 6. Keep Me In Mind – Zac Brown Band 7. Cruise – Florida Georgia Line 8. Wild At Heart – Gloriana 9. Long Hot Summer – Keith Urban 10. Lovin’ You Is Fun – Easton Corbin

Kelly Clarkson Song Turned Country

Kelly Clarkson’s Pop Hit “Mr. Know It All” Now Has A Country Version. Kelly Clarkson is a pop singer with a powerhouse for a voice. Although she is not part of the country genre when it comes to her music, she has a lot of ties to the big family. She is from Texas, enjoys country music, has many friends who are currently staples in the country music scene, (Reba, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert to name a few) and blew people away with her duet “Don’t You Wanna Stay” with Jason Aldean. Recently her pop hit “Mr. Know It All” was tweaked and changed to be played on country stations. The question is should it have been done? Some might argue that the lyrics fit right in with the things they hear on their local radio stations now, the only thing keeping it from being country is the music. Well…isn’t that a big part? Anybody could add some pedal steel to many songs and would make it more “country.” This is a big topic of debate these days, what is country? Below are two videos…one that is the audio to the country version of “Mr. Know It All” and the other is the official music video for the original version (pop version) of “Mr. Know It All.” Tell us what you think! Which version do you like better? Do you think she should do more country versions?

Lady Antebellum Perfect Day Video

The Official Music Video For Lady Antebellum’s “Perfect Day.” The video for Lady Antebellum’s “Perfect Day” is a behind the scenes look at the band over the last year. From photo shoots, to TV appearances, awards shows, life on the road, music video sets, backstage at a show to being on the stage, they show us everything! I really like when videos have a story line and acting (like a mini-movie!), but I also really like when we get a candid look at the artists. They invite the whole world in and show us things that we normally wouldn’t see. I give this video an A and the song an A+! Watch the video now! Maybe it will inspire you to have a perfect day!
