ABCs Nashville Episode Eval: Ep.2

MissMolly’s Episode Eval for the Second Installment of ABC’s Nashville (Spoilers Below). The second episode of ABC‘s Nashville aired last week, and the drama, music, and intrigue continued! The plot continued from episode 1, and we know more about Rayna and Deacon’s complicated romantic past, that Teddy isn’t quite the boyscout he appeared to be, there might be a little more to Juliette Barnes than we originally thought and that things are gonna keep heating up on this show!! At the end of the night though, I was left with two burning questions. Who will Deacon choose? It’s clear that Rayna and Deacon have a steamy and intimate past, but at the present she’s married to Teddy and has a family. Meanwhile, Juliette is swooping in like a hawk trying to nab him up for herself. I’m thinking that this is going to be the major storyline for the series, and will force Rayna and Juliette to keep colliding and maybe develop some kind of professional relationship in the process. What I’m really wondering is will Deacon throw caution to the wind and outright pursue Rayna? Or will he take a sure thing and settle in with Juliette. I’m still not sure, but I’m half hoping for both options. What did Teddy do that got him so much trouble? Teddy’s storyline isn’t really the most exciting one, but the show’s writers are doing a good job of keeping us interested. I want to know how much money he lost, who he screwed over, and what’s going to happen with him! My prediction is that something will come out of the woodwork, and Lamar will use it to manipulate him further. This will then give Rayna some leverage to justify her conscious about her relationship with Deacon and push them closer together! Share your thoughts! What do you think of my predictions? What are your predictions? Share your thoughts in the comment section below! Tweet with Me! ABC’s Nashville airs again this evening at 8/9c! Taylor Swift Begin Again Music Video

WATCH: Taylor Swift Releases Video for Begin Again Off New Album Red. Taylor Swift released her brand new and highly anticipated album, Red earlier this week (check out my complete review!), and in the onslaught of all things Taylor, she has debuted a new music video for track, “Begin Again“. This track is easily one of the more low key, and *almost* country songs off the new album, and the imagery is definitely more mature than what we saw in her pop-ish “We Never Ever Getting Back Together” video. Check it out below, and don’t forget to let us know what you think in the comments section! Watch: Taylor Swift “Begin Again” Music Video.

Hayden Panettiere to Release A Country Music Album

Hayden Panettiere Hopes to Record Full Length Country Music Album. Hayden Panettiere is currently starring alongside Connie Britton on ABC’s hit new drama, Nashville, as the young, conniving and emotionally damaged pop country singer we love to hate, Juliette Barnes. So far, she’s already had to sing a couple of times for the role, and it looks like she wants to do a lot more of it! Hayden recently shared with US Weekly that she’d love to record a full country record! “I recorded an album when I was younger, and I always said that if I was going to go back to music, I would do country. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.” -Hayden Panettiere Like many young starlets, Hayden already has a background in music/recording in addition to her acting chops with credits on Disney soundtracks like Ice Princess and Disney Girlz Rock. She even released her own pop single in 2008 titled “Wake Up Call“. It’s super poppy stuff, but based on her performance on Nashville, I think Hayden could offer up a pretty decent country album. You can actually purchase tracks from Nashville via iTunes!

Garth Brooks Inducted Into Country Music Hall of Fame

Garth Brooks Inducted Into Country Music Hall of Fame by George Strait and More. Sunday, October 21st, Garth Brooks was officially inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, and some very iconic artists had some very kind words to share! According to The Tennessean, George Strait and Bob Seger had a little something to say about the country music artist! “I think passion best describes him. He’s got it. You see it when he sings on TV or at concerts … I remember hearing about him on stage swinging on ropes and throwing things, and I said, ‘This is country music. Can you do that?’ He blew it up, man. Yes he could do that. And you can see it today in all the young acts that were influenced by you. It’s amazing.” – George Strait “What I admire about Garth is his passion, he’s just never afraid to be passionate. I also love the fact that with his enormous success, his historic success, he’s still a really good guy. He wears it well.” – Bob Seger James Taylor was also in attendance and along with Robert Bailey, Vicki Hampton and Trisha Yearwood sang a rendition of Brooks’ hit “The River“. What a special performance that must have been! That wasn’t the only one though, George Strait also shared a song by singing “Much Too Young to Feel This Damn Old“. 2012 Medallion Ceremony Highlight Reel!
