Luke Byran’s Farm Tour to Launch in Knoxville, Tn

Luke Bryan has announced the eight cities that he will reach with his smaller, more intimate “Farm Tour” in October. The first stop will be in Knoxvile, TN on October 1st. The concerts will take place in smaller markets during a brief hiatus from his My Kind of Night tour that continues through Oct. 25 at the Hollywood Bowl. He established the Farm tour to support the Luke Bryan Farm Tour Scholarship, an initiative that grants college scholarships to students from a farming family within the communities visited by the tour. In 2013, Bryan broke the previous year’s record by performing for a total of more than 115,000 fans during eight concerts. The Georgia native’s Farm tour will include three concerts in his home state. Here’s a list of tour dates announced late Monday (July 28): Oct. 1: Knoxville, Tennessee (Maple Lane Farms) Oct. 2: Auburn, Alabama (Ingram Farms) Oct. 3: Tallahassee, Florida (Cross Creek Place) Oct. 4: Gainesville, Florida (Whitehurst Cattle Farm) Oct. 8: Statesboro, Georgia (Perry Field) Oct. 9: Athens, Georgia (Meldon Farm) Oct. 10: Columbia, South Carolina (Culler Farms) Oct. 11: Macon, Georgia (Midway at Central City Park) Members of his fan club will be offered tickets during a presale beginning Tuesday at 10 a.m. local time in Knoxville, Gainesville, Auburn and Statesboro. Ticket sales to the public begin Aug. 1 at 10 a.m. A presale for the Macon, Columbia, Athens and Tallahassee shows will begin Aug. 5 at 10 a.m. with sales to the public beginning Aug. 8 at 10 a.m. Bryan’s That’s My Kind of Night tour resumes Friday in Canandaigua, New York, and Saturday in Bowmanville, Ontario.

I know, I know, we’ve been all about the Garth around here lately, but let’s be honest… what other artist is making the headlines as big as he is right now? Anyhow, yesterday team Garth let it be known that Garth Brooks is kicking off his world tour in Chicago. It will be the first time Garth has played Chicago in 17 years. The concert will be Thursday, September 4th, 7:30 PM at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL. “As an entertainer, you get asked a lot ‘what are the best cities to play?’ Without hesitation, I rattle five or six of the best places to play and that list ALWAYS includes Chicago. It is the PERFECT city to launch the World Tour!” said Garth Brooks. Tickets will be on sale Friday, July 25th at 10:00 AM CST. There will be a six ticket limit per purchase. They can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com, 1-800-745-3000 or Ticketmaster Express 1-866-448-7849. Please note there will be no sales at the venue box office or Ticketmaster outlets on July 25th.

Garth Brooks Five Ireland Shows CANCELLED

The official word is out; Garth Brooks five consecutive concerts in Dublin, Ireland at the end of this month have been cancelled. In a statement released today Garth’s team confirmed that the 18 semi’s loaded with all their production gear and stage rigging are currently on a ship heading home.  Details about how to get refunds for the nearly 400,000 tickets that were already sold will be issued by Ticketmaster tomorrow morning. Garth Brooks Press Conference

Garth Brooks Announces a full force comeback complete with new music! In an online press conference held at 11am Central today, July 10th, 2014, Garth Brooks announced that he is teaming up with Sony Music Group Doug Morris, CEO of Sony Music Entertainment, began by announcing a record deal between Garth Brooks and Sony Music. He offered a recap of Garth’s accomplishments, then introduced Garth Brooks to the stage. Garth described this stage of his life as “the second half of his career”. Garth confirmed new music IS coming, and he will be working with producer Mark Miller, and engineer Matt Allen, and the same band. Garth says “The world has changed, but all we can be is ourselves.” Songs have been selected from Nashville and LA songwriters. No set ETA on a new album. According to Garth “The guys are telling me to keep it vague, but [you’ll hear] new music in the next month”. Garth has finally consented to allow digital distribution (Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, etc) in the coming weeks. Stay tuned to www.garthbrooks.com for details. His official presence on Social Media is still up in the air. Ticketmaster will be handling the world tour. The announcement for the opening city of the world tour will be coming July 14th. The official word on Ireland is “I don’t have a clue” “In January I went over… and was treated like a king… up to ten days ago, two weeks ago it was nothing but love. Then it was ‘we’ve got you covered for the first three shows, but the other two are up to you’.” In short, they are still waiting on the official word. It’s official! Garth Brooks has a press conference on Thursday July 10th to announce his plans for a 2014/2015 tour WITH wife Trisha Yearwood!   CountryMusicNewsBlog.com has just learned that a press conference will be held Thursday morning on GarthBrooks.com to announce a Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood 2014 Tour schedule. After almost 13 years off the road, Garth is excited to get back to touring from city to city again. In a recent interview he told ABC’s Good Morning America “We’ve talked about it, and all my babies are fine with it, (Brooks’ wife) Ms. (Trisha) Yearwood is fine with it,” Brooks said in the December interview. “So now I get to do what I love to do, which is play music. Colt Ford Releases “Thanks For Listening”

Showcasing his talent as a gifted songwriter and evolution as an artist, Colt Ford’s fifth studio album “Thanks For Listening,” releases on Average Joes Entertainment tomorrow, July 1, 2014. While the iHeartRadio Music Awards cover all genres, it seems country music was pretty light in the fan submissions in this year’s list of award finalists, with only one mention outside of the country music category.
