The Band Perry Release Highly-Anticipated Brand-New Single – "Comeback Kid"

TRIO TO PERFORM “COMEBACK KID” ON CITI CONCERT SERIES ON TODAY LIVE FROM 2016 SUMMER OLYMPIC GAMES ON 8/11 August 1st, 2016 – (Los Angeles, CA) – GRAMMY® Award-winning superstar sibling trio THE BAND PERRY release their highly-anticipated brand-new single, “Comeback Kid,” today via Mercury Nashville / Interscope Records. The track, about overcoming adversity, was written by Kimberly Perry, Reid Perry, and Neil Perry, and co-produced by the trio with Benny Cassette, marking the first time The Band Perry has co-produced one of its songs. Fans can purchase the song HERE. “‘Comeback Kid’ follows the narrative of what the three of us have been feeling over the past year, but also something bigger,” said The Band Perry.  “It is the story of anyone who’s walked through a challenging time only to come out the other side much stronger and wiser.” Throughout the day and for a full 24 hours, the band will be livestreaming a “day in the life” of The Band Perry leading up to the release of “Comeback Kid”. The Band Perry teased the announcement of the new song across their social media platforms creating buzz amongst fans and industry alike.   As part of the campaign they created a Comeback Day meme-generator HERE with tens of thousands of ‘comeback kids’  taking to their social platforms helping the siblings promote their single. Additionally, The Band Perry will perform “Comeback Kid” for the first time on television on August 11th as part of the Citi Concert Series on Today live from the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.   The news was originally announced back in April when the band performed their smash “Live Forever,” which is the official song of Team USA for the 2016 Summer Olympics, on the morning television show.  The band will also be performing for the team while in South America.

The Band Perry New Video for Done

The Band Perry Get A Little Rock and Roll with Video for Done from New Album Pioneer. With their debut, self-titled album, The Band Perry leaned a little folk, and they seemed to be continuing that trend with their most recent single “Better Dig Two.” Before now, I would have said TBP was much more pop country than anything else, but this new single, “Done” from sophmore album Pioneer (releasing Tuesday, April 2nd) is whole other animal indeed. This new track is much more rock and roll oriented than any of their previous work, and it really, really suits them. The new video which premiered only moments ago features the trio in black leather ensembles, giving absolutely everything they’ve got. All three of the siblings, but Kimberly especially, are maturing and growing before our eyes with each new taste of music we get from them. Check out the new song below, and be sure to give the whole album a look as well. Watch: The Band Perry “Done” Official Music Video.

The Band Perry New Album Release Date

The Band Perry Announce Release Date of Highly Anticipated New Album! We’ve been waiting on this news for awhile now, and The Band Perry have finally announced a release date for their highly anticipated sophmore album! The new record will drop on April 2nd, and it features the already gold certified (500, 000 + sold) single “Better Dig Two“! The debut single is honestly quite similar in theme to what we’ve heard from the sibling trio on their debut album. However, musically and vocally it is a much stronger effort, and I think bodes very well for what we can expect from the rest of the record! The Band Perry Better Dig Two Video

The Band Perry Better Dig Two Video Really Delivers. The second time I ever heard The Band Perry‘s current single, “Better Dig Two” was live at the 2012 CMA Awards, and I have to tell you, it gave me chills. Sure, this song has very similar themes as previous releases like “The Way You Lie” and “If I Die Young“, but it hardly matters because Kimberly Perry really knows how to deliver. Vocally and musically, this is a very powerful song, and this sibling trio isn’t holding back. The video has already garnered over a million views on YouTube alone. Join the crowd and enjoy it below! The Band Perry are set to release a brand new album later this year, release date and title have yet to be announced. Watch: The Band Perry Better Dig Two Official Video.
