Faith Hill Confirms she will Sing for Sunday Night Football

Faith Hill has been waiting all summer for a good Sunday night! In a press release this last weekend, Faith Hill confirms that she will continue to show her love for the NFL by singing the opening intro to Sunday Night Football for the 2010-2011 Season. The song “Waiting all day for Sunday Night” has been the opening theme now going on 4 years. When asked about her thoughts on NFL, Hill states: “I’m a football fan. I have to be to be able to have a conversation with my husband during football season … I’ve learned a lot about football over the last [several] years. I understand when to ask a question. Something’s happened on the field, and I don’t quite understand what’s going on, you never ask during a replay. You never ask a question during a replay!” Not really sure where she was going with that, but we are sure glad going to keep singing!Country Music Photo Gallery

Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher Wedding Confirmed!

It’s official! Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are holding a well-secured wedding ceremony at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, GA Saturday! In true superstar form, Carrie Underwood and team have managed to keep nearly every detail of her pending nuptials secret… until now! Sources say that Carrie Underwood and groom Mike Fisher are tying the knot in a private ceremony in Georgia at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation. Speculation about the biggest wedding in country music this year has been growing for weeks as one tidbit of information after another slowly leaked out, only to be claimed false by either party’s press team. Guests, including Fisher’s Ottawa Senators teammates Chris Phillips and Chris Neil, were instructed to fly to Atlanta where they would be given tickets once they arrive at the airport directing them to the top secret location. Finally Thursday night it was confirmed by one of the wedding guests that one main road leads to the resort and that will be closed off to everyone except invited guests. An Entertainment Tonight crew is already in town for the wedding and more media is expected on Friday. Guests for both parties began arriving at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, GA on Thursday night, but even then, had no idea when and where the ceremony would be held. Underwood has taken a nearly month-long break from her Play On tour, giving her plenty of time to celebrate her wedding and go on an exotic honeymoon planned by her new hubby.Country Music Photo Gallery
