THE ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC (ACM) will be moving its ENCINO, CA-based headquarters to NASHVILLE next year (NET NEWS 11/2/20). The ACM has made the first step in the full transition to TENNESSEE by signing a lease with ADVENTUROUS JOURNEYS (AJ) CAPITAL PARTNERS to open its first NASHVILLE-based office after being headquartered in CALIFORNIA for more than five decades. The ACM NASHVILLE office will be part of the NASHVILLE WAREHOUSE COMPANY, a 5.2 acre campus, located less than two miles SOUTH of Downtown NASHVILLE.

David Nail announced to fans’ delight that he will be releasing a brand new EP titled Bootheel 2021 on Friday, November 5. The project is a continuation of his previously released Bootheel 2020 that came out in December of last year. This new collection of songs showcases his love and admiration for his hometown and family as you can hear special contributions from twins — daughter, Lilli Cate, and son, Lawson — in the prelude and postlude. The word “bootheel” holds a ton of meaning to David as it is often used to describe the region of Missouri that he grew up in and so fondly writes and sings about. Pre-save Bootheel 2021 here.

MCA NASHVILLE’s PARKER McCOLLUM is the latest addition to APPLE MUSIC’s “Up Next” artist program, an initiative aimed to showcase rising artists. Each month, APPLE MUSIC’s editorial team selects a rising artist to promote on the platform. ERIC CHURCH, DAN + SHAY and BLAKE SHELTON are among the first round of artists announced as performers for the 55th Annual CMA AWARDS, set for WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 10th at NASHVILLE’s BRIDGESTONE ARENA. JIMMIE ALLEN, BROTHERS OSBORNE, MICKEY GUYTON, ASHLEY McBRYDE and CARLY PEARCE are also slated to perform on the show, which will air live on ABC from 7-10p (CT).
