The Marshall Tucker Band Provides Donations for Hurricane Sandy Victims. The Marshall Tucker Band is collecting donations for Hurricane Sandy victims, and you can help! Starting TODAY, Nov. 8th, you can bring your donations to the southern rock group’s tour truck in Spartanburg, SC. Marshall Tucker Band lead-singer, Doug Gray, feels a personal connection to the hurricane victims. “People in that part of the country have supported The Marshall Tucker Band for over 40 years. We’ve made a lot of friends up there, have watched people’s families grow and have grown with them. So, on a personal level, I know a lot of their pain.” -Doug Gray The band will be in front of the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium from 4:30-7:30, and then they’ll depart to donate the items to victims in the Northeast. They are currently working on more donation trucks for Anderson and Chesnee, SC. They ask that you bring winter necessities such as blankets, coats, and gloves.

The Marshall Tucker Band Joins the Rock Legends Cruise II Line-up. If you like country music and cruisin’, The Marshall Tucker Band has got the show for you: They’ll be part of the Rock Legends Cruise II which sets sail on January 10, 2013. Royal Caribbean International’s Liberty of the Seas will leave Fort Lauderdale for a four day cruise to Labadee, Haiti.
