Diamond Rio and Charlie Daniels Band to Headline September Landfest Festival in Georgia

With the hope of giving fans something to look forward to amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Dailey & Vincent and the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds have announced today the full Artist lineup for their annual LandFest In The Mountains & On The Lakes music festival, presented by Springer Mountain Farms and celebrating the best of American music. The festival, which will return to Hiawassee, Ga. September 17-19, will be adapting to the “new normal” amidst health concerns – and the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds has guaranteed that it will refund all ticket buyers if the festival is unable to take place due to any government-mandated orders.

“The wellness of our fans is of paramount importance to us,” Dailey & Vincent said in a joint statement. “These times are trying times – we’re excited to give fans a ‘light at the end of the tunnel,’ while still taking care to prioritize their health and safety.”

This year’s festival will feature performances by the GRAMMY®-nominated group, along with headliners Charlie Daniels, Diamond Rio, Jimmy Fortune of the Statler Brothers, Dailey & Vincent, and a special 2-hour Salute to the Grand Ole Opry featuring Opry Stars Bill Anderson, Jeannie Seely, Dailey & Vincent, comedian Karen Mills, and hosted by the iconic and legendary Eddie Stubs. The lineup is rounded out by the Booth Brothers, Bradley Walker, Mike Snider, the Gibson Brothers, the Malpass Brothers, and the winner of Dailey & Vincent’s annual LandFest Online Band Contest will also join the lineup.

Each year, Dailey & Vincent curate the festival lineup in much the same way they’ve developed their career over the last decade; delivering music fans an evolved combination of “the best of bluegrass, country and gospel this side of heaven” (USA Today), what the band defines as American Music. Their unique marriage of genres has made them three-time GRAMMY® nominees in country, bluegrass, and for a gospel record, earned them membership with the prestigious Grand Ole Opry, garnered nine #1 country, bluegrass and gospel Billboard charting records, and helped launch their national weekly television series The Dailey & Vincent Show, now in its fourth year on RFD-TV.

ABOUT DAILEY & VINCENT:
Grand Ole Opry Members, five-time GRAMMY® award winners individually, three-time GRAMMY® award nominees collectively, four-time DOVE Award winners and winners of 35 IBMA Awards altogether (including 3-time IBMA Entertainer of the Year Award winners and 3-Time Vocal Group of the Year Award winners), Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent (and their world-class band) offer a unique and modernized spin on ‘American music’ – an “electric combination of country and bluegrass” (Billboard) – the duo has played across the globe, taking the stage at iconic venues including the Ryman Auditorium and Carnegie Hall. Now on Season 3 of their nationally broadcast television series, “The Dailey & Vincent Show on RFD-TV,” Dailey & Vincent bring their music to a national audience on a weekly basis. After a decade spent performing together and with over 1,000 airings of their PBS special “Dailey & Vincent ALIVE – In Concert,” their concoction of fantastically instinctive vocal blends of Dailey’s tenor and Vincent’s reedy harmonies has gained them well-deserved praise for their own distinctive style and worldwide recognition as American Music gold. Their most recent live CD, “Dailey & Vincent ALIVE,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Bluegrass charts and remained at the top position for over 15 weeks. Dailey & Vincent’s latest release of their first-ever Christmas album, “Dailey & Vincent: The Sounds of Christmas” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Bluegrass chart and No. 8 on the Billboard Holiday Chart, landing right behind Michael Bublé and Pentatonix as the only country, bluegrass and gospel act in the Top Ten.

Miranda Lambert Thanks First Responders with WILDCARD Tour

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – As Miranda Lambert wraps the initial U.S. leg of her Wildcard Tour, she is pausing to recognize the heroic first responders this tour has brought to her attention.  Having been inspired by Kelly Ford of WNSH New York, who routinely honors first responders on her morning show, Lambert invited radio listeners to nominate local heroes in each tour market. Selected honorees in turn received a pair of show tickets as well as the opportunity to meet Lambert ahead of her performance. “It was an honor to meet some of the incredible first responders, the men and women across the country who have dedicated their lives to service and bravery to keep their communities safe,” shared Lambert. “Hearing each one of their unique stories was such an inspiration to me and my team.” Recently nominated in three categories for the upcoming Academy of Country Music Awards (Female Artist, Album and Music Event of the Year), Lambert has wowed fans and critics alike with the first leg of the Wildcard Tour.  Billboard celebrated the tour’s Nashville stop for its “engaging set that spanned her massive catalog… and proved exactly why she’s one of the genre’s powerhouse acts,” while the Kansas City Star noted in Missouri that “Lambert still holds her status as queen of country music… [her] carefree nature and admirable expansive sound make her one of the most compelling country stars of the past 20 years” and the Dallas Observer praised her hometown show as “utterly transcendent.”  Lambert next travels to Australia to headline the CMC Rocks Festival in Queensland in addition to her own shows in Sydney and Melbourne, before returning to the U.S. for the Tortuga Music Festival and the continuation of her Wildcard Tour in April. The lyrics unapologetically sear the current administration — “Conman in the highest office in the land, goddamn, says make America great again” — showing that these Southern progressives aren’t planning to shut up and sing this election cycle.
