Ron White – Celebrity Salute To The Troops

Ron White gathers close personal friends for a special Salute to the Troops concert in Nashville Rascal Flatts joins comedian Ron White for a special Salute to the Troops concert from the Grand Ole Opry house February 15th, 2011. The concert will air at a later date on CMT. Proceeds from the the concert will go towards the Armed Forces Foundation and tickets go onsale this Friday, December 17th. “This is my fourth year doing this benefit, and every year it gets better. I am thrilled CMT is going to be airing it so everyone can join in the fun”, Ron continues “I’ve gathered some of my close musical and comedian friends and we’re going to see if we can’t bring a few laughs to these soldiers; raise some money, and hopefully lift their spirits. Just announced, here’s your line-up for Country Thunder 2011 in Twin Lakes Wisconsin! It may be getting colder, but country fans are getting heated up! Country Thunder has just announced their lineup for the Twin Lakes, WI music festival next summer! Kicking off the festival on Thursday, is 2010 CMA “Vocal Group of the Year” Lady Antebellum. Newly crowned CMA “New Artist of the Year” Zac Brown Band won’t want to be missed on Friday and 4 time CMA “Female Vocalist of the Year” Martina McBride hits the stage on Saturday night. Last but absolutely not the least country music’s most awarded group of the decade, Rascal Flatts, will close out the festival. The Country Thunder festival will run July 21-24th 2011 with camping, activities, and even VIP options. The Oak Ridge Boys 2010 Christmas Tour

The Oak Ridge Boys are back! For Christmas that is. The Oak Ridge Boys are back on the road this winter for their annual Christmas tour. This year they will tour from mid-November through December 22nd, hitting 18 states and 29 cities before topping it off with a grand celebration at the newly re-opened Gaylord Opryland Resort! The Boys are thrilled to be ending their holiday tour in Nashville. “It’s such an honor to play the last day of our tour this year in our hometown. It will provide a great opportunity for all of our local friends, fans and family to celebrate Christmas with The Oak Ridge Boys,” The Oaks’ Joe Bonsall explains, “we have been doing a full out Christmas tour since 1988, and since we last brought the tour to Nashville, our children have grown and we all have grandkids.
