Lady Antebellum Concert DVD

Lady Antebellum Releasing New Docu-Style Concert DVD! It’s a bummer, but we can’t always catch our favorite country music performers live. Luckily, for the Lady Antebellum fans that fall into this category the all-star trio will be releasing a special documentary-style concert DVD. It will feature a behind-the-scenes look of their “Own The Night World Tour” with candid footage from the road and live concert footage. A majority of the footage comes from the Little Rock, AR stop (hey-o! Arkansas represent!). With the added bonus of the backstage footage, I’m thinking the DVD would make a pretty good consolation prize (and Christmas present!!) It will release on Tuesday, December 4th.

Luke Byran Releases Steamy Video for Steamy Lyrics of “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye”! Sometimes, I really just need a little Luke Bryan in my day to make things a tiny bit better, and yesterday his new video for “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye” really did the trick. First of all, I really dig this song because I think its one of the best he’s released. Second, with Bryan performing his heart out in some very form fitting jeans, it really made me giggle. Then there are the rather steamy scenes featured throughout that don’t do anyone any harm (and really what can you expect with lyrics like “let’s lay down tonight” and “take off your leavin’ dress/let’s do what we do best”?). ABC Debuts New Series Nashville Next Week! Along with the new Fall season, TV networks bring out their brand new shows, and one new series I am particularly excited about is ABC‘s drama, Nashville! Chronicling what goes on behind the scenes in the country music industry from long time partnerships to family stress and pressure to betrayal and more! Featuring a gorgeous cast including the lovely Hayden Panettiere and the fabulous (and very talented) Connie Britton as series stars, I really think (and hope!) this one is going to be a home run. Nashville Synopsis A fading Nashville superstar is forced to team up with a teen sensation or face the loss of her tour and promotion of her latest records. Why I’ll Be Tuning Into Nashville. 1. The Drama! I love a good story, especially the juicy ones and if the trailer is any indication there are going to be plenty of twists to keep me watching. 2. Connie Britton. Okay, seriously. Who didn’t fall completely in love with Britton when she starred on Friday Night Lights? She is an amazing actress, and not gonna lie here, I’m already rooting for her character over Hayden’s! 3. Zac Brown Band Southern Ground Festival in Nashville

Brown Band’s Southern Ground Music & Food Festival Big Hit at Nashville Debut! It is easy for me to say that Zac Brown Band is my personal favorite country music group, and it is hard for me to say that I missed out on the debut Southern Ground Music & Food Festival that took Nashville, TN by storm for two days on September 21st and September 22nd! I would have given anything to be one of the 15,000 fans that joined in on the weekend’s festivities, enjoying Live music on two stages from ZBB and special guests Gregg Allman, Sheryl Crow, John Mayer, Alan Jackson and Dwight Yoakam plus more stellar artists like David Gray, Amos Lee, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, The Lumineers, Southern Ground Artists Nic Cowan, Blackberry Smoke, Levi Lowrey and others! Besides amaaaaazing music, the lucky festival attendees also got to sample food from Zac Brown’s own mobile kitchen “Cookie” and other food trucks including Biscuit Love, Riff’s Fine Street Food, Bistro Truck and Delta Bound. The tour kicks off Wednesday, October 3rd, and Bryan will be joined on his eight concert dates by the “Peach Pickers” Dallas Davidson and Rhett Atkins, and singer/songwriters Chancie Neal and Cole Swindell. Jason Aldean Caught Cheating

Jason Aldean Caught Canoodling With Woman. Over the weekend, news broke that country music star Jason Aldean had been caught in a very inappropriate situation. The not quite trustworthy and shady in its own right gossip monger, TMZ released photos of Aldean in various phases of flirting, kissing and other PDA with a young woman that was clearly not his wife. This put the country music singer, and up ’til this point CMNB favorite, in a position that made it impossible to deny what he’d done. He owned up to it, siting over intoxication as the culprit, with an apology to fans admitting that he’d been careless. He asked that everyone let him have some privacy to deal with the matter with his family. Here are some things to consider… -He IS a married man. -Along with the majority of his fans, the other woman is aware he IS married. -He did NOT leave with the woman. -This whole mess happened in a VERY public place. Where were his friends, band mates, manager or someone that is closely connected to him when this was happening? Did they not care? Not only that he was disrespecting his wife, but also that he was doing a great deal of damage to his image? The big question is what happens next…will his marriage survive this? Will this cause trouble for his upcoming album release sales? Although this is a private matter, you have to remember that Country Music artist’s private lives are very closely tied to their career. They are known to many as family men or good ole’ boys…they invite fans into their world and whether it is fair or not, fans hold them accountable for ALL of their actions.
