Brad Paisley – Country Nation – Official Video

Brad Paisley on Country Music News Blog

It seems while Taylor Swift was busy twerking on Yahoo! Brad Paisley was making his own debut for his new single “Country Nation” on a brand new site that appears to be created/ran by WalMart. You can see the full video below: Besides being surrounded by Walmart ads, and even including Walmart employees in the video, we also learned that Brad Paisley is releasing his new album next Tuesday, August 25th. The album is titled “Moonshine in the Trunk” and I’m pretty sure there’s no twerking in these videos!

Kenny Chesney Reveals Big Revival Cover Today

The Hollywood Reporter & Billboard.com Share Exclusive Peek NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 14, 2014) — It took Kenny Chesney time to find the songs that would become The Big Revival. But given the success of “American Kids” topping the Soundscan Digital Country Songs chart for the last two weeks since and hitting country radio hard, it’s obvious forging new paths is working for the man who’s been called “The People’s Superstar” by The Los Angeles Times. With an eye toward fresh and different, Chesney wanted an album cover to reflect just that. Not what was expected, not obvious marketing, or even keyed on any of the obvious notions of who he is. As he says, “I wanted a cover that was surprising… that suggests anything is possible. No matter where you are in your life, how tired or lost or demoralized, with a little faith and a little help, anything’s possible. Because it’s all within you. Or me.” To that end, Chesney chose a portrait of the bus from his freewheeling “American Kids” video, a vehicle both loaded with meaning and recast in ways that defy description. Transformed by the crazy paint job Chesney himself helped create, the bus becomes a transport to a world where everyone can explore their potential and celebrate being alive. Kenny Chesney Starts Up THE BIG REVIVAL 9/23

Full-Tilt Studio Album Hits Hard As “American Kids” Takes Radio By Storm NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 30, 2014) – Kenny Chesney made the decision to take the summer of 2014 off from his massive stadium tours to make sure he got the music for his 15th studio album right. With “American Kids” hitting country radio with 117 stations on add date – and landing at #20 on Billboard and #24 on Mediabase after just two days of airplay – and topping iTunes Country Chart since the digital release, the Luttrell, Tennessean has come to play. Hard. “The whole point of taking the time to get to a really creative place was to have the room to look at not what we’d done, but where we wanted to go,” Chesney says. “After all this time, if I can’t push myself and give the fans something that inspires them, that gets them pumped up, there’s no reason to just make a record to make a record.” That record – The Big Revival – arrives September 23. Produced by Chesney and Buddy Cannon, fresh from Willie Nelson’s #1 Band of Brothers, The Big Revival goes deep. With guest appearances from Alison Krauss, Dan Tyminski and Grace Potter, the 11 song album moves from the double-hooked, triple rhythmed “American Kids” to thumping rockers, a few personal ballads and even the amped up title track. “I think in anyone’s life, there are times when you just need to shake things up, really push yourself and find the thrill of what you do again,” Chesney says. “I went to dirt floor church revivals with my grandma as a little kid, and that power is electric. Scared me to death, but it shows you what it means to be alive. I think bringing that sort of passion to how you live your life is everything – and it’s so easy to lose touch with.   Find out more straight from the source! http://ebmediapr.com/kennychesney/664-kenny-chesney-starts-up-the-big-revival-923-

SUNNY SWEENEY RETURNS WITH NEW ALBUM, PROVOKED

Third Studio Album to Hit Shelves on August 5; New Single “Bad Girl Phase” Causing a Stir on SiriusXM’s “The Highway” Sunny Sweeney is ready to talk, or rather sing, about it all – the good, the bad, and the ugly—on her new album PROVOKED, a 13-song sampling from the songstress American Songwriter raves as “a modern country music singer with a retro streak.” After her first two albums, Heartbreaker’s Hall of Fame and Concrete, this critically acclaimed Texas honky-tonker isn’t about to play coy now. Sweeney has teamed up with Thirty Tigers to release her third album on August 5, 2014 with SiriusXM’s “The Highway” already championing the lead single “Bad Girl Phase.” The album, produced by Luke Wooten, (Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley, Kellie Pickler and more), tracks Sweeney’s coming to terms with the mistakes she has made and the recovery that the last few years have brought her. “The album is a journey from nearly hitting bottom and losing everything personally to regaining my footing and being able to find not only my true self again, but real happiness,” Sweeney reveals. "AMERICAN KIDS" ARE BEING HEARD

Kenny Chesney fans are blowing up YouTube after just two days to get “American Kids” to the top of the charts! Kenny Chesney knew he had something special when he heard “American Kids,” but he didn’t think he’d hit the kind of nerve the decidedly icon-invoking tribute to being young and alive in the U.S. has struck. Hitting radio Friday, June 20 at 6 a.m. and iTunes at 7 p.m., the first single from Chesney’s eagerly anticipated fall release debuted at #27 on Billboard and #31 on Country Aircheck/Mediabase. With little more than two days play, it topped iTunes Country Songs chart and hit the all-genre Top 10 over the weekend. “I knew it was one of the freshest things in a long time when I heard it,” says the songwriter from Luttrell, Tennessee. “And then I heard it on the radio, and I couldn’t believe how great it sounded! ‘American Kids’ sounded as freewheeling and free-spirited as the folks I’m singing about… and no matter how old you are, I promise, unless you were one of those kids who just didn’t like fun, you know just how alive this feels.” Find out more straight from the source! http://ebmediapr.com/kennychesney/658-american-kids-are-being-heard

Jarrod Niemann’s High Noon is a Lowdown Good Time!

Yesterday I was tuned into SiriusXM and caught a brief interview with Jarrod Niemann on The Highway where he discusses the inspiration behind the album “High Noon“. He pointed out that he wrote the whole album out of a frustration with the winter that never seemed to end. I couldn’t agree with that statement more! Spring is finally here, bonfires are lighting and those winter blues are finally lifting, so let’s raise a cup and sing along with Jarrod! Here’s the first track off that album “Drink to that all night”
