Ashley Forrest Is Releasing Her Debut Single, “Pourin’ Over Me,” To Country Radio This Week. Newcomer Ashley Forrest is releasing her debut single, “Pourin’ Over Me,” to radio this week. Produced by Grammy-nominated producer Mark Moffatt, “Pourin’ Over Me” is a mandolin-infused track that Forrest calls a “get up and go, feel good song.” Nashville songwriters Kate and Kacey Coppola, Danny Myrick and Jeff Spence penned the upbeat number. “Everyone works so incredibly hard these days and needs that time to take a break from their job every once in a while. ‘Pourin’ Over Me’ is all about living life to the fullest and having a great time soaking up the sun, which is exactly what I believe in! We all need a little more ‘live-it-up, fun days’ in our lives!” -Forrest Forrest has been writing and recording her full-length debut album with Moffatt. In addition to several Forrest co-writes, the project features cuts from a number of chart-topping Nashville songwriters, including: Dave Haywood/Charles Kelley/Hilary Scott (Lady Antebellum), Victoria Banks, Dave Berg, Marty Dodson, Robert Ellis Orrall and Rivers Rutherford, among others. “Pourin’ Over Me” is now available for purchase at iTunes, Amazon.com and most major digital retailers. The song was released to radio earlier this summer and has been a weekend anthem to many! When talking about this song, Moore relates it to his younger days with buddies, “you are holding out spending money on food so that you’ve got enough money that weekend to go to the beer store and have a good time.” He says, “I think that is the way small-town America still is everywhere.” I’d have to agree with him 100%!
