Martina McBride Covers Love Song

Martina McBride Shares Her Rendition of One of Her Personal Favorites. In a recently taped performance for CMT Unplugged, Martina McBride covered Sara Bareilles‘ “Love Song“. McBride claims that the song is one of her favorites, and it is clear through the performance that she truly has a connection to this song. Despite not changing any of the instrumentals (i.e. there were no fiddles or banjos added), Martina really makes this song her own, and packs it full of emotion. I think she definitely does the song, which was Bareilles’ first Number 1 single, plenty of justice. Check out the video here and weigh in on what you think of the song and Martina’s performance! McBride is not the only country star currently giving Sara Bareilles some love. Bareilles is touring alongside Sugarland on their Incredible Machine tour.

Martina McBride Video I’m Gonna Love You Through It

Martina McBride’s “I’m Gonna Love You Through It” Video Opens The Flood Gates! I woke up this morning and turned on the TV so I could hear some music while I got ready, normal routine. As I walked through the kitchen I saw a video coming on that I didn’t recognize, so I stopped… Martina McBride recently released “I’m Gonna Love You Through It“, the follow up to “Teenage Daughters“. The words to this song are powerful ones that speak of someone with cancer and the important role that their loved ones take on during the journey. There are many strong and courageous people who have to battle through the terrible disease every day, but if it weren’t for the husbands, fathers, wives, mothers, brothers, sisters, children, and friends to keep the faith it would be very difficult for many to go on with the fight. The video is such an emotional one, having actual survivors sharing their stories with the world. I think that it was important to feature women who are in the spot light, Robin Roberts and Sheryl Crow, as well as everyday women… “Cancer don’t discriminate or care if you’re just 38…“ “I’m Gonna Love You Through It” and “Teenage Daughters” will be on Martina’s upcoming album, 11. As the title states, this her 11th studio album and is set to be released October 11 (sounds like a lucky number). Until then you can find both singles on iTunes. Here is the video that brought me to tears at 8 this morning… [youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxIt70j_SPk]

Martina McBride’s “Teenage Daughters” Video

Martina’s McBride’s “Teenage Daughters” Video Adds Depth to Lyrics. Martina McBride‘s new single “Teenage Daughters” released earlier this year, and now the video is available. The song realistically treats the trials of parenthood, and the video definitely adds an additional layer of meaning and substance to the song. It is not a stylized video instead opting for documentary-style footage featuring Martina working on the album in the studio as well as interactions with her family, especially, of course, her daughters. The choice to have her own family in the video as opposed to casting actors and setting up an imaginary scene really does promote the realistic this-is-every-day-living quality so appreciated by country fans. It truly seems this song is coming from a real place that viewers are sure to relate to. Check out the video now. Teenage Daughters – Martina McBride – Martina McBride Videos After the initial video was released, Martina debuted another more elaborate video for the single. It still features her daughters, and playfully depicts typical mother-daughter interactions through the decades. It’s just a relateable as the first and even more fun! Check it out here! Martina McBride Releases New Single

Martina McBride Releases New Single “Teenage Daughter” Martina McBride’s new single “Teenage Daughter“, the first new music she has released since 2009, has hit country music air warves. The autobiographical song takes an interesting angle, speaking from the perspective of both father and mother, on parenting and coping with the inevitable changes that come as children grow up. The song is co-written by McBride and The Warren Brothers, and connects to those difficult teenage years when parents have to begin to let go. “t’s just inevitable as they grow up. It’s their job to become more independent and our job to walk the balance between keeping them close and letting them go a little at a time. No matter how much you think you are prepared for it, it still takes you by surprise …This is every day life and it’s why I love country music – It touches us right at the heart of what we are feeling or dealing with on a daily basis.” -Martina McBride The single is featured on McBride’s new album which is due out this fall and includes seven more tracks co-written by Martina. This is the first album in which she has written a majority of the material herself. “I finally made the time to write more and it’s made this album so much more personal…this album shows so many sides of my personality and the fact that I wrote most of it will make it interesting and fun for my fans.” -Martina McBride McBride will be performing as a part of the special tribute concert “Girl’s Night Out: Superstar Women of Country” which is set to air April 22 at 8pm ET on CBS Text COUNTRY to 22828 to be eligible for exclusive text subscriber giveaways from CountryMusicNewsBlog.com!
