Randy Travis and The Avett Brothers Meet Up for CMT Crossroads. Country music staple Randy Travis joins forces with the folksy Avett Brothers on CMT Crossroads. Tune in on Friday, November 23rd (11pm et/pt) to watch the guys meet and “swap” songs! Crossroads pairs two artists we love and provides the chance for them to try on the other group’s songs for size. This episode will actually be the first time Travis has met the Avett Brothers. ABC’s Nashville Debuts October 10th

ABC Debuts New Series Nashville Next Week! Along with the new Fall season, TV networks bring out their brand new shows, and one new series I am particularly excited about is ABC‘s drama, Nashville! Chronicling what goes on behind the scenes in the country music industry from long time partnerships to family stress and pressure to betrayal and more! Featuring a gorgeous cast including the lovely Hayden Panettiere and the fabulous (and very talented) Connie Britton as series stars, I really think (and hope!) this one is going to be a home run. Nashville Synopsis A fading Nashville superstar is forced to team up with a teen sensation or face the loss of her tour and promotion of her latest records. Why I’ll Be Tuning Into Nashville. 1. The Drama! I love a good story, especially the juicy ones and if the trailer is any indication there are going to be plenty of twists to keep me watching. 2. Connie Britton. Okay, seriously. Who didn’t fall completely in love with Britton when she starred on Friday Night Lights? She is an amazing actress, and not gonna lie here, I’m already rooting for her character over Hayden’s! 3. The music. I love music. I love TV. Do you really think that if you put those two things together that I’m not gonna watch? Exactly. Tune In and Tweet! CW Airs iHeartRadio Music Festival

CW Airs iHeartRadio Music Festival featuring Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift and more TONIGHT! For all of us that couldn’t make the trek to Las Vegas to check out Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean and Taylor Swift live and in concert at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, there is hope! The CW Network will be airing selections from the two-day multi-genre concert TONIGHT (Monday, October 1st) at 8pm ET/PT. This festival did include a whole bunch on non-country acts (including a phenomenal on-stage tirade from Green Day rocker, Billie Joe Armstrong…details on that here.), and the television special will run for two hours. So, you may just want to DVR it! Either way, happy viewing. In the meantime, check out interviews with all four of these country acts now!

Kip Moore To Perform On NBC’s Today

Kip Moore Will Be On NBC’s Today Monday Performing From The University of Tennessee. Kip Moore will perform “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck” on Monday’s (Oct. 1) episode of NBC’s Today. The performance will take place on the University of Tennessee’s campus as part of the “Kathie Lee and Hoda Go Back To College” special. UT is the winner of a contest that determined what school would host the morning show. “The energy level at a college is always heightened. You’ve got so much spirit among the student body. That gives us energy when we are playing, so we always look forward to playing on college campuses.” -Moore “The spirit of these big SEC schools is pretty amazing. I never got to be a part of that, so I am looking forward to it.” -Moore Moore played point guard for Wallace State’s basketball team and also played on its golf team in Hanceville, Ala., for two years and then transferred to Valdolsta State University on a golf scholarship. Moore has been busy touring with shows of his own and also being a part of Eric Church’s Blood Sweat and Beers tour. His current single, “Beer Money,” is in the Top 20 and rising.

Mumford & Sons will share the stage with Country Music Hall of Fame member Emmylou Harris when CMT presents an all-new episode of CMT CROSSROADS. Meeting and collaborating for the first time on the CMT CROSSROADS stage in Nashville, Mumford & Sons and Harris will perform acclaimed Harris favorites “The Road” and “Orphan Girl” and the group’s “Awake My Soul,” “The Cave” and more from their new release, Babel. CMA Fest Countrys Night to Rock Airs TONIGHT

Tune In To ABC Tonight for CMA Fest: Country’s Night to Rock! Its that time of year again! The summer is over, and with it the country music festival scene is winding down for the season. BUT, that doesn’t mean we can’t take an evening to look back at the awesome times we had during those warm summer nights! Tonight, the Country Music Association will air its annual recap of the 2012 CMA Fest (previously Fan Fair) in their network broadcast, CMA Fest: Country’s Night to Rock. You can relive the performances you loved, or if you missed the Nashville based festival, experience them for the first time! Keith Urban Officially Joins American Idol

Keith Urban Officially New American Idol Judge! After a whole lot of speculating and wondering on the part of the country music fan base, Keith Urban has officially announced that he will be joining the American Idol judges panel as the fourth judge! This announcement comes after Urban left his current gig on The Australian version of The Voice, and he shared the good news with his fans via Facebook and Twitter!
