Scotty McCreery Announces Webisode Series

Scotty McCreery Unveils New Webisode Series, “ScotTV.” Scotty McCreery has released the first two episodes of his brand-new webisode series, “ScotTV.” The series will give fans a behind-the-scenes experience with Scotty as he embarks on his first headline tour, sneak peeks of his forthcoming sophomore album, and much more. “We always have a lot of fun out on the road and these first episodes of ScotTV are just the beginning,” says McCreery. “2013 is going to be a new chapter in my career and I’m excited to share it with all my fans. I hope they’ll enjoy the ride as much as I do.” McCreery is also announcing more dates for his first headlining tour. The Weekend Roadtrip Tour kicked off on February 14 and will make stops through May. Scotty is also giving fans a first listen to new music from his next album, scheduled for release later this year on 19/Interscope/Mercury Records. Below is episode 1 of “ScotTV,” enjoy!

Scotty McCreery Launches His First Ever Headlining Tour for 2013! It’s only been a little under two years since Scotty McCreery won American Idol, but he’s already prepared to strike out completely on his own! The country music newbie will be launching his first ever headlining tour in just under a month! The Weekend Roadtrip Tour 2013 is sponsored by humanitarian organization World Vision, and will kick off on February 14th in Bethlehem, PA making stops in 25 different cities. McCreery is quick to acknowledge the stars that have helped him get where is right now, and also wants fans to know that he has a lot in store for them. “I’ve been lucky enough to play a lot of great cities over the last year with Brad Paisley and some other great country artists. This time I get to play some new places with a show that’s all my own. I can’t wait for my fans to see what we’ve lined up for them on my Weekend Roadtrip Tour 2013.” -Scotty McCreery The still-new-to-college student has been balancing his career with his studies, and so the tour’s name shouldn’t come as a surprise! “Right now, I’m balancing my music career with my second semester at North Carolina State University. I go to school early in the week and get to play my music every weekend. So, calling this tour the Weekend Roadtrip Tour just made sense. Scotty McCreery Plans On Getting Healthier In 2013! Just because country stars are, well, stars, doesn’t mean they don’t have things they want to change about themselves! Scotty McCreery rang in the New Year with the hope that he’ll be able to eat a little healthier in 2013! He recently told US Magazine that he wants to try and lay off on all that fast food. “I really should lay off the fast food. I want to stay healthy!” – Scotty McCreery Being a new college student and touring most four days out of the week, McCreery definitely has his work cut out for him and his new diet plan!
