The Oak Ridge Boys’ Buried Treasures arrives October 30 through Lightning Rod Records, bringing ten songs of faith, friendship and comfort into one collection.
Anderson East produced and engineered the album, with Dave Cobb serving as executive producer. The selections reach from gospel standards to familiar songs by Simon & Garfunkel, Bill Withers and Billy Joe Shaver.
“Every song on the album is about something that’s dear to us,” Duane Allen said in the official announcement.
The title song, “Buried Treasure,” is the collection’s only newly written composition. Aaron Raitiere wrote it specifically for the project.
