Ray Wylie Hubbard On The Late Show

Ray Wylie Hubbard On The Late Show With David Letterman Tonight. Ray Wylie Hubbard will perform tonight (Wednesday) on the Late Show with David Letterman. His performance is in support of his 2012 album, The Grifter’s Hymnal. According to the Americana Music Chart, the album was the #8 Record of 2012. “This really was a very special record to me. It wasn’t easy, and some of it really was a struggle, but it was fun. I think each record to me has been a struggle in a way, and I like it that way. I like it that they’re all hard to do, because I think that makes them all have more value to me. It makes me kind of reach for a better part of myself. It keeps me from settling.” – Ray Wylie Hubbard Don’t miss Hubbard’s performance on CBS at 11:35 p.m. ET, PT & 10:35 p.m. CT.

John Corbett Leaving Nothin’ Behind-New Album

John Corbett Releases Album & Announces Tour Dates. Some of you might not have heard of John Corbett the musician, but trust me (especially the ladies), you have heard of him! He is the tall, very attractive gent who played Aidan in the HBO series Sex and the City and Ian from My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Now that you know who I’m talking about, some of you are probably thinking, “oh, here is another actor trying out the music scene,” but that is not the case with Corbett. Music has always been a big chunk of his life, unlike acting. His mother bought him his first guitar when he was seven or eight, and he’s been playing ever since. He loves music and has a special passion for Texas music in particular. This new album, Leaving Nothin’ Behind, came together with the help of Jon Randall Stewart, a longtime Guy Clark collaborator. Stewart wrote or co-wrote 7 out of 10 songs on the album and co-produced it with Gary Paczosa. When asked what he does to prove those wrong who think he is just an actor dabbling in music, Corbett says, “I don’t do anything. I play the show. I already win the battle when I come out onstage, if they haven’t seen us before, because they have such low expectations.” Be looking for Leaving Nothin’ Behind on iTunes January 29 and in stores February 5. Kara Della Valle Releases EP, Glass. We were recently introduced to a fairly new artist. Kara Della Valle is a young, singer-songwriter trying to fulfill her dreams. And so far, she is doing a pretty good job. Kara has a solid following on YouTube with over half a million views on her original and cover songs. In November of 2012, Kara released her EP, Glass.
