Josh Turner Formally Partners With Boot Company. Josh Turner has partnered up with Ariat International. The Western and English footwear, apparel and accessories company will be sponsoring numerous dates on Turner’s 2013 Punching Bag Tour. “I remember coming across this particular pair of Ariat boots at a western store in Billings, MT and I was blown away at how comfortable they were. They were the most comfortable boots I had ever put on, and I knew the rubber sole would be great on stage to keep me from slipping and sliding. From that point on, I fell in love with the brand.” -Turner Turner will also be featured in Ariat’s new “Passion” advertising campaign. The ad will appear in several publications including Southwest Airlines’ magazine Spirit, Cowboys & Indians, American Cowboy and Western Horseman. “Josh is a true fan of our brand. We have been working with him for several years, and this formal partnership is a natural progression of the relationship. I had written the chorus and played it for her, and she and I wrote the first verse together. She was so excited about it that she went home that night and wrote the second verse. We had washboard and accordion in the studio, and there is a great sexy interplay between the fiddle and accordion on the solo. Here Is The Lyric Video For Faith Hill’s Latest Single, “American Heart.” Faith Hill has released the lyric video for her new single “American Heart.” I’m not sure how I feel about this one, as the lyrics seem to be off. The song says “you can’t break an American heart,” but we hear about broken hearts every five minutes… I hope that Hill can come up with some songs that will make her comeback easier. Maybe some that will reach the levels that “There You’ll Be,” “It Matters To Me,” or “Breathe” did! Watch the video below and tell us what you think.

Maggie Rose performed the national anthem this past Sunday, October 7 at the Pittsburgh Steelers game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The song hit the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart with over 40 adds the first week on the chart. “I wrote this one with Hillary Lindsey and Matt Warren. The Marshall Tucker Band Will Perform At The 2012 Vice Presidential Debate Tonight, The Marshall Tucker Band will perform at the Vice Presidential Debate. “It’s a serious thing, being part of the debate. We are very excited to perform and would like to invite Vice President Joe Biden and Congressman Paul Ryan to join us onstage to help us sing ‘Can’t You See!’” -Doug Gray, lead singer and founding member The band will perform immediatley after Vice President Joe Biden and Congressman Paul Ryan face-off at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. The performance is scheduled for approximately 10:30pm ET.

Sugarland’s Kristian Bush Has Sold Out His Two Solo Thanksgiving Shows In Georgia. Kristian Bush, one half of country music super-duo Sugarland, sold out his two solo Thanksgiving shows at Eddie’s Attic in Decatur, GA so quickly that for the first time, he is adding an encore performance on Monday, Nov. 26. “I’ve been a songwriter my entire life, and Eddie’s is the club where I got my start, so I’m happy to keep on playing for as long as people want to listen. I’m thrilled so many fans want to ring in their holiday season with this show that means so much to me.” -Bush Bush is also announcing his special guests Ellis Paul and Mercury Records newcomer Canaan Smith. They will join him Nov. 25, and Smith along with singer-songwriter Patrick Davis will sit in on Nov. 26 Tickets will go on sale for the encore performance of “Kristian Bush and Friends” this Friday, Oct. 12 at 9am ET through the venue’s website, eddiesattic.com.
