CMA Foundation Honors 30 Music Teachers with Music Teachers of Excellence Awards

NASHVILLE—The CMA Foundation, a national music education nonprofit and the philanthropic arm of the Country Music Association, is honoring 30 music teachers from across the country as Music Teachers of Excellence. Now in its fifth year, the annual program was created in an effort to recognize those educators who are having the greatest impact on their students, using music as a vehicle for change.

Benefit Concert for Tennessee Disaster Relief THIS Wednesday (3/11)

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — FOX’s Rent: Live Actor and singer-songwriter Brennin Hunt will host the Tennessee Tornado Relief Concert at VZD’s in Oklahoma City Wednesday, March 11.  Seven artists will perform in an intimate Nashville style writer’s round concert, with 100% of the proceeds benefitting Restore the Dream Fund, a fund supported by the efforts of United Way of Greater Nashville.

Miranda Lambert Thanks First Responders with WILDCARD Tour

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – As Miranda Lambert wraps the initial U.S. leg of her Wildcard Tour, she is pausing to recognize the heroic first responders this tour has brought to her attention.  Having been inspired by Kelly Ford of WNSH New York, who routinely honors first responders on her morning show, Lambert invited radio listeners to nominate local heroes in each tour market. Today (March 4th, 2020), the Dixie Chicks released their first song in 14 years, titled “Gaslighter”. The catchy tune sends the listener back in time with the familiar vocals and rhythm of the Dixie Chicks, but with an extra flare of female strength and resilience. Gaslighter is just a taste of what the Dixie Chicks have in store for us and on May 1st, they will release their new album of the same name. While we anxiously await for the album we will have Gaslighter on repeat and turned up to eleven!
