The Chicks Announce 2022 Tour!

Today, the 13-time GRAMMY® award-winning, multi-platinum selling global superstars, The Chicks announced their highly anticipated return to the road with The Chicks Tour, set for summer 2022. Produced by Live Nation, the 27-city tour kicks off on June 14 at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis, MO making stops across North America in Chicago, Toronto, Boston, back-to-back nights in Los Angeles and more before wrapping up in George, WA at The Gorge on August 13.

Dixie Chicks Drop ‘Dixie’ From Their Name – Release “March March”

THE DIXIE CHICKS are now officially “THE CHICKS” after changing their name across all of their social media pages and web site this morning (6/25). The band’s publicist confirmed the name change to ALL ACCESS. The band has not commented on the change other than adding the message “We want to meet this moment” under the new name on their web site.

Today (March 4th, 2020), the Dixie Chicks released their first song in 14 years, titled “Gaslighter”. The catchy tune sends the listener back in time with the familiar vocals and rhythm of the Dixie Chicks, but with an extra flare of female strength and resilience. Gaslighter is just a taste of what the Dixie Chicks have in store for us and on May 1st, they will release their new album of the same name. While we anxiously await for the album we will have Gaslighter on repeat and turned up to eleven!

Natalie Maines Solo Album Mother Releases May 7th

Natalie Maines To Release New Solo Album, Mother, May 7th! Natalie Maines will be releasing brand new music this year in the form of her new solo album, Mother! The new record promises to have a rock vibe, inspired in part by iconic British rock group Pink Floyd and will release on May 7th. The new record was produced by Ben Harper whom Natalie performed with live more than once earlier this year. Maines’ cover of the Pink Floyd song, “Mother“, will be available via iTunes as early as January 15th as it is featured on the soundtrack for new documentary, West of Memphis, chronicling the harrowing story of the West Memphis three. Now, just because Maines is releasing a solo project doesn’t mean the Dixie Chicks are gone for good or at all. The Dixie Chicks Rejoin Country, Headline 2013 Craven Country Jamboree In Canada. Looks like the country scene is (finally) ready to welcome back The Dixie Chicks into the country music fold. The talented and dynamic trio will be headlining the upcoming 2013 Craven Country Jamboree, an annual country music festival held in Craven, Saskatchewan (Canada). The Dixie Chicks will be replacing the originally scheduled Lady Antebellum who have pulled out of several summer commitments since announcing Hillary Scott’s pregnancy. “We knew we had to find something extra special to replace Lady Antebellum when the band canceled their summer dates due to Hilary Scott’s pregnancy. We are extremely excited that we can offer a taste of country music royalty to the Craven Country Jamboree. Dixie Chicks Storytellers DVD

Dixie Chicks Release Special ‘Storytellers’ DVD. The Dixie Chicks (Natalie Maines, Martie Maguire and Emily Robinson) will be releasing a DVD from their live September 2006 VH1 Storytellers performance in Los Angeles. The DVD will include the full concert in addition to three never before seen performances. In addition to performing some of their biggest hits (“Not Ready To Make Nice“, “Cowboy Take Me Away“, “Wide Open Spaces“) the concert DVD includes plenty of personal anecdotes and commentary from all three ladies! The DVD/Blue-ray will be available Tuesday, November 2011. The Very Best of Dixie Chicks includes 12 tracks: “Wide Open Spaces,” “You Were Mine,” “Sin Wagon,” “Cowboy Take Me Away,” “Let Him Fly,” “Long Time Gone,” “Landslide,” “Truth No. 2,” “The Long Way Around,” “Easy Silence,” “Not Ready to Make Nice,” “Lubbock or Leave It.”

Dixie Chick’s Martie McGuire and Bob Schneider Share the Stage

Martie McGuire of Dixie Chicks fame makes a special appearance with Austin’s Bob Schneider for live DVD filming. Austin musician Bob Schneider welcomed Dixie Chick Martie McGuire to the share the stage in a duet performance of “Changing your Mind” that caused the audience to sit in total silence. Schneider is commonly referred to as “Austin’s most favorite singer and songwriter” and was gathering footage for his soon-to-be-released DVD taping show at the Paramount Theater. Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks in Stealing Cars

Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks will play a prison nurse in an upcoming movie, Stealing Cars. The film will start shooting in September and will be directed by Michael Skolnik, who cast her after seeing the Dixie Chicks documentary, Shut up and sing. Maines’ husband, Adrian Pasdar, stars in the NBC series, Heroes.
