Performers for the 2010 Academy of Country Music awards have been announced! Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney Lady Antebellum, and Reba McEntire are just some of the amazing artists that have been announced as part of the performance line-up for the 2010 ACM’s. The 45th annual Academy of Country Music Awards will broadcast live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV April 18th and also feature artists Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Trace Adkins, and more! The awards show will once again feature Reba as a host and be aired on CBS.

Keith Urban has released a limited amount of information about his 2010 Summer Concert Tour. While we are still waiting for more details (including the name of the tour) Keith Urban has confirmed that he will be touring this summer, as well as joining The Eagles and The Dixie Chicks for a mega-tour, much to fans’ delight. Carrie Underwood Crew Member Killed
Carrie Underwood crew member dies after his truck careens off an embankment. Source: www.countrymusicfever.com A truck driver working as part of Carrie Underwood’s crew for her Play On tour was killed this morning in a fatal truck accident on I-95 on the way to her show at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, CT. The driver was carrying parts of Carrie’s staging when the truck careened off of the highway and plummeted down an embankment before bursting into flames. Reports say that the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel while driving. The highway was closed off for many hours today as the wreckage was cleaned up. The show will however, go on as scheduled tonight according to a Foxwoods representative. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the truck driver, as well as Carrie and the rest of her crew.Country Music Photo Gallery

Sarah McLachlan created this female-oriented festival which will make its return in 2010. The Lilith Fair started in 1997 and ran through 1999. It will feature an array of diverse artists from Kelly Clarkson to The Go-Go’s and will hit a number of cities this summer.
