Just out of high school, Warner Bros. recording artist Blake Shelton left Oklahoma to move to Nashville. Back home at only 16 years old, Shelton had received statewide focus when he won the Denbo Diamond Award, the top award for young Oklahoma entertainers. In Nashville, Shelton was able to get several material published with Naomi Martin Music, Warner/Chappell Music, and Jerry Crutchfield music. Shelton turned his songwriting into a successful recording in 2001 with his debut single, “Austin”; the song eventually spent five weeks at number one. “All Over Me” and “Ol’ Red” followed in 2002, allowing Shelton’s record to go gold. His star power was on the rise and Shelton was as busy as ever. He wasted no time recording a follow-up release. The Dreamer appeared in February 2003, hot on the heels of the Top Ten single “The Baby.” A third album, Blake Shelton’s Barn & Grill, was put forth in 2004, along with a DVD, Blake Shelton’s Barn & Grill: A Video Collection. In 2007 he put forth the cleverly titled Pure BS on Warner, came by Startin’ Fires in 2008.

Blake’s latest project is the release of a dual set of “six-packs”. Six tracks per CD at a slightly lower-than average price, including hit tracks like “Hillbilly Bone” featuring Trace Adkins. The “six pack” format bucks traditional album templates and sales models, while allowing fans to get new music more frequently.

The Voice Final Performance Episode Full Of Excitement! Tonight was the last chance for contestants to show us what they got and boy did they ever! The night started off strong with all four coaches, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, and Christina Aguilera coming together for their version of “Under Pressure“, it was very energetic and I loved it! The contestants had to perform an original song, which was meant to be the performance fans are to base their vote on. Javier Colon was the first to show us his, “Stitch By Stitch“. His coach, Levine, was almost brought to tears as he praised Colon on not only his performance and talent, but for the fact that he was such a great guy and new friend. Vicci Martinez was next with “Afraid To Sleep” and like always she owned the stage with her powerful presence. Next, my favorite, Dia Frampton gave us a very humble performance (as always) as she sang “Inventing Shadows“. The other coaches tried to give her a hard time about her “mimes” and “distractions”, but protective coach Shelton soon came to her rescue with his quick wit, stating they were going to be “distracted by all the iTunes domination” they were about to see. The final original song performance was Beverly McClellan with “Love Sick“. Her coach, Aguilera, made emphasis on the fact that Beverly had some of the best work ethic she has seen and Shelton also had some thoughts on her performance… “If music was crack you’d have a serious problem…yes, I said crack!” Along with original songs, all contestants sang a duet with their coach and first to do so was Dia and Blake where they proceeded to literally rock it! From the coordinating outfits and shades to their moves with guitars, these two definitely did Tom Petty proud and aren’t looking to “back down” anytime soon! Beverly and Christina slowed things down with “Beautiful“, Aguilera’s original song that had special meaning to the two. Javier and Adam also were one of my favorite performances of the night with Michael Jackson‘s “Man In The Mirror“. Their performance was simple and fantastic! Last, but so dramatically not least was Vicci and Cee Lo, with “Love Is A Battlefield“. They were in it to win, from their outfits to the children dancers they had joining them on stage, it was interesting…but I do love that song. The night also had a few guest performances, maybe to take the pressure off a little, maybe to bring in viewers, but either way it was a smart decision. Pitbull and Ne-Yo were first, but the better of the two was obviously country super star Brad Paisley! He sang “Don’t Drink The Water” featuring Shelton from his latest album This Is Country Music. Miranda Lambert on The Voice

Miranda Lambert Joins New Husband Blake Shelton on The Voice. Miranda Lambert will be making a special guest appearance on the season finale of NBC‘s hit competition series The Voice which airs this Wednesday, June 29th at 8pm ET. She is set to perform with finalist Dia Frampton who (what a coincidence!) is tutored by Blake Shelton, one of the four coaches featured on the show. Miranda is definitely pleased to be joining her new hubby on the show! “I am thrilled to perform on my favorite new show. It’s been a joy watching my husband grow so attached to his team. Truthfully, I am a little jealous that I am not a coach myself. I can’t wait to be a part of it.” -Miranda Lambert There are three other remaining finalists, Javier Colon, Beverly McClellan, and Vicci Martinez, who will perform will perform during the Tuesday, June 28th show, and the winner will be announced during the Wednesday night finale. Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton’s wedding video was NOT intended for public sharing, and has since been removed from the original youtube account. While SOME country music sites may continue to host and share the video, I will not be making an attempt to do so. Congratulations to the happy couple, and my sincere wishes that your private moments stay private. The wedding of the year between Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton seems like it was quite the fun and intimate affair. We’re really excited and of course honored that the couple has allowed a video compilation to be released that gives fans an inside peek at the simple beauty the day held for Blake & Miranda. Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton Raise Bundle for Relief

Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton Raise Large Sum through Benefit Concerts. Reba and Blake Shelton hosted two “Tornado Relief Concerts” at the Choctaw Events Center in Durant on May 25th and 26th, and managed to raise a total of $500,00 as both shows sold out. The proceeds are being donated to victims of recent severe storms and tornadoes in Atoka County, OK. Both Reba and Blake are Oklahoma natives, and organized the two shows in an effort to show their supports for their fellow Oklahomans. Both performances lasted for over two hours and each included a jam-packed set and an encore. The pair co-headlined the event, opening with a duet of “Oklahoma Swing.” The two sang a combination of their hits including Reba’s “The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia,” “Why Haven’t I Heard From You,” “Turn on the Radio” and “Consider Me Gone,” and Blake’s “All About Tonight,” “Goodbye Time,” “Hillbilly Bone” and “Some Beach.” The set lists also included more recent singles like Reba’s “When Love Gets a Hold of You” and Blake’s chart-topping “Honey Bee“. At the May 26th show, fans were greeted with a special treat as Susie McEntire-Eaton and Kelly Clarkson stopped by for surprise appearances. All proceeds raised from both shows and donations from The Choctaw Nation and fans, will go towards Atoka County’s ongoing relief efforts through the Tushka Disaster Relief Fund. Additionally, for those still wanting to lend a helping hand, a special mobile fundraising campaign has been set up with The mGive Foundation. Fans can text “OKGIVE” to 27722 to make a one-time $10 donation, which will be added to their monthly cell phone bill. Checks can also be made out to the Tushka Disaster Relief Fund and mailed to: 101 SE 1st Street, Tushka, OK 74525.

Blake Shelton Shares Title of Upcoming Album. Blake Shelton has had quite an eventful life as of late, personally and professionally! After releasing two EPs last year in addition to a greatest hits compilation, Blake recently announced he would be generating yet another album. The due date for this album is set for July 12th, and we now know that it will be titled Red River Blue. It’s amazing that in between his wedding with Miranda Lambert last Saturday in Texas, his role as judge on NBC’s hit show The Voice and participating in relief efforts with Reba that Blake has had time to complete and polish an album for release! Yet, that’s exactly what he has done, and the album has already produced his fastest rising single to date, Honey Bee. So, keep your ears open for more details on Blake’s upcoming album, Red River Blue!

Can’t wait to see Miranda Lambert’s wedding dress, the cake, or the handsome groom in pictures? Neither can we! The pictures from Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton‘s Saturday night wedding are still trickling in, with this first shot coming out in this preview from Us Weekly. I absolutely LOVE Miranda’s dress and think she looks WONDERFUL! The photographer they hired had this to say on his blog: “Blake & Miranda’s wedding images will be published in Us Weekly magazine coming later this week. I have to say that Miranda & Blake’s wedding images are really beautiful. One big reason they have great wedding photographs besides their genuine down to earth personalities which made my time behind my camera easy, was the fact that they cared more about great wedding photography, then old traditions. They took my advice and saw each other before the wedding and took all their photos before their nuptials, so after they said “I DO” and walked down the aisle, they could go do whatever they wanted, instead of spending time taking photographs. Spending time alone or spending more time with your guests is a smarter choice, especially when your normal human reaction after you kiss and travel down the aisle is “Let’s go party and be with our friends and family” A wedding is a celebration and when the months of planning are over, It’s time to PLAY! “- Robert Evans, Photographer We promise as the pictures come out we’ll have em for you here… right here… right in this very spot! Both Blake and Miranda’s rings were custom made by Beverly Hills jeweler Johnathon Arndt who also handcrafted Carrie Underwoods’ engagement ring and wedding band. Miranda’s ring is a 5-carat white diamond eternity ring, and Blake’s ring features a black diamond mounted on the inside (a detail specifically requested by Miranda) and a hand engraving based on one of Shelton’s tattoos. Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are tying the knot TODAY! After much excited anticipation, word has finally come out that Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert‘s wedding will be held today at an undisclosed location in Texas. More details, pictures and tasty tidbits will be added to this announcement as they come to light. Here’s what we know so far: The wedding was held at Don Strange Ranch near Boerne, Texas, a community located approximately 45 minutes from San Antonio Blake will be wearing a sharp coat, blue jeans and cowboy boots. Miranda will be wearing her mother’s wedding dress. Miranda has been on an all meat and veggie diet to prepare for the dress… no potatoes or mayo here! Miranda’s ring is platinum and diamonds. Dierks Bentley will be in attendance as he just facebooked “adios jägermeister country tour. me and the boys had a blast. one last pic. headed to a wedding. see ya! “. Reba and husband Narvel will also be in attendance as well as Martina McBride, the Bellamy Brothers, Charles Kelley and CeeLo Green. Neal McCoy will be performing at the reception. Miranda’s bachelorette party was held at the Kentucky Derby, while Blake opted for an all-guy camping trip. Venison will be served at the reception, and rumor has it, Miranda hunted the deer herself. There was a total of 550 guests No word yet on the planned honeymoon location, but Blake will be back on stage with Reba in just ten short days for the disaster relief concert benefiting Oklahoma tornado victims.

Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton Set Date for Second Relief Concert. Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton initially organized a special concert set for May 26th in Durant, OK to raise funds for victims of the tornadoes which recently hit Oklahoma.
