Colt Ford & More At Country Weekly Kick-Off Party

Colt Ford, LoCash Cowboys And Matt Stillwell Will Perform At The Country Weekly Kick-Off Party Tonight! Country Weekly magazine is celebrating the kick-off to CMA Music Festival with a special benefit concert featuring artists Colt Ford, LoCash Cowboys and Matt Stillwell who will bring their southern fried country music to the stage of the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Nashville today, June 5. To keep the party rocking, electric cowboy DeeJay silver will spin his signature country music remixes and mash-ups for fans in between performances. All proceeds from the event will go towards Musicians On Call (MOC), Nashville’s ongoing efforts to to bring the healing power of music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities in Middle Tennessee. Tickets are available now on the MOC website and begin at $15 for General Admission and go up to $350 for a VIP table for four including meet & greet passes. Doors open at 8:00pm with music beginning at 9:00pm. The night promises to bring great country music and rowdy good times. Dwight Yoakam Featured At 3rd Annual Billboard Country Music Summit! As we all know this week is the week of the Country Music Association’s CMA Music Festival in Nashville, TN! Fans will be pouring in from far and wide to participate in the June 7-10 festival, hearing some of the best country music, hanging out with other country music fans and experiencing all Nashville has to offer! While the focus of the next few days really is on the fans, this is also a chance for individual’s on the business side of things in the industry to get together as well. For the past couple years, this has come together as the Billboard Country Music Summit, and now in its 3rd year, it just keeps getting better and more relevant. It takes place on June 4-5, right before CMA Fest kicks off, and the event will gather today’s top players in country music to network and discuss all aspects of the country music business. To get this conversation started, event organizers look to the folks who’ve got experience in the country music world! Lady Antebellum Announces Australia Tour Dates. Lady Antebellum has announced that the final leg of their “Own The Night 2012 World Tour” will be in Australia this September. Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday, June 15. Pre-sale tickets will begin Tuesday, June 12. “We’ve been anxiously wanting to announce that we’re going back to Australia! Eric Church Adds To List of Dates for Blood, Sweat and Beers Tour! Eric Church‘s first ever arena headlining tour The Blood, Sweat & Beets Tour, which kicked off in January, isn’t even over yet, and its safe to say that it has already been a huge success! He sold-out over 25 dates, and fans everywhere have been singing his praises, CMNB included! His team has just announced that he will be adding additional dates to the fall leg of his tour that will include special guests Justin Moore and Kip Moore! So if you haven’t had the chance to see Church live, you’ve got another handful of opportunities to do that, just see the list below. Besides giving fans a great concert full of great music, Eric has also tied up ticket purchases with charity. When concert-goers buy their tickets they can donate part of the price to their own favorite charity or donate to Church’s partner cause, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Second Annual Johnny Cash Music Festival announces Line-Up! The second annual Johnny Cash Music Festival has announced its official line-up, and it will include Willie Nelson, Dierks Bentley, The Civil Wars and Rosanne Cash! The music fest takes place on October 5th in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and proceeds go to fund the restoration of Cash’s boyhood home in Dyess, Arkansas. Tickets will be available starting Friday, May 25th and run from $37.50 up to $150. Those willing to spring for the higher ticket price will get access to a meet and greet with the artists before the concert.

Country Music Fans Invited To Help Welcome Home Soldiers At Red Carpet Event! Most red carpet arrivals feature tuxes, sequined gowns and world-famous celebrities. The red carpet leading to the Grand Ole Opry House next Tuesday is set to feature soldiers’ uniforms and American heroes. Country music fans from Nashville and across the country are invited to say “thank you” to the men and women of the U.S. military during a red carpet arrival of members of the Tennessee National Guard at the Tuesday Night Opry May 22. The public is invited to be a part of the arrival and celebration at 6:00 pm. The evening’s Opry performances – a salute to the military featuring John Conlee, Ronnie Milsap, Montgomery Gentry, Kellie Pickler, Rascal Flatts, Mark Wills and more – beings at 7:00 pm. “We are excited about welcoming country superstars to our stage and our country’s heroes to our House Tuesday night. We’re just as pleased to give country fans an opportunity to show their appreciation to our men and women in uniform as they arrive at the Opry House.” – Pete Fisher, Opry House Vice President and General Manager Clips from the red carpet arrival and performances from the night will air as the premiere 90-minute episode of “Noteworthy at the Opry” on GAC Saturday, May 26 at 9:00 pm ET.

CMA Fest Offers Two Stages of Free Music! Earlier this week, CMA Music Festival organizers announced the addition of two new stages to the already full line-up of artists and events. The kicker? The two stages, the Bic Soleil Bella Beach Stage and the Bud Light Stage, are offering free music! From Thursday June 7th – Sunday, June 10th, there will be plenty of live music for concert attendees to enjoy! “Live music is a hallmark of CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL, and we are excited to be able to add a new stage and even more performances this year” -CMA Chief Executive Officer, Steve Moore The complete line-up isn’t available yet, but word is that Greg Bates, Julie Roberts, Miss Willie Brown, Jon Pardi have already been signed up to perform!
