Martina McBride’s Joy Of Christmas Tour

Martina McBride Hits The Road For A 16-City Christmas Tour. Martina McBride’s favorite time of year is Christmas, so this year she is doing it up big in more way than one! She will be sharing this magical time of the year with fans as she makes appearances in two TV specials, premiers a new music video, lends her voice to the Very Special Christmas album and performs on her 16-city The Joy of Christmas Tour. The tour kicked off this past Friday in Atlanta, GA and will hit cities in Virginia, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Missouri and more! The final show will be December 21 in Chicago, IL. McBride will be backed by a 12 piece band, including a string section, to help blow the audiences socks off! There will be a duet with “The King,” local celebs reciting “The Grinch,” and a home video of the McBride’s on Christmas morning. “My goal is to put everyone in the Christmas spirit by bringing every aspect of Christmas to life on stage,” said McBride during her tour rehearsal. “We perform everything from pop classics like ‘Let it Snow’ and ‘I’ll Be Home For Christmas’ to the beautiful hymns such as ‘O Come All Ye Faithful’ and ‘O Holy Night.’ One of the parts I’m most looking forward to is when I go into the audience to chat with fans. It’s spontaneous and fun, because you never know what’s going to happen! I love Christmas, and I’ve put together a show that is powerful and full of emotion, as well as fun for the whole family. I would love for this show to become a holiday tradition for everyone.” McBride’s brand new music video for “Please Come Home For Christmas” was directed by Roman White and is expected to be released very soon! The song will be on the 25th anniversary of the A Very Special Christmas holiday series that benefits the Special Olympics.

In a totally cool move, Tim McGraw is giving fans a unprecedented behind the scenes look at the making of his upcoming music video, “One Of Those Nights” by streaming the shoot LIVE today (Tuesday, November 27th)! The video stream will be active at 3:30pm central time. Fans will be able to watch via USTREAM, and will be able to interact with McGraw and other fans via chat throughout the livestream. The Owen’s Welcome First Child. Jake Owen and his wife, Lacey, are extra thankful this Thanksgiving! The two happily welcomed baby girl, Olive Pearl Owen, to this world this past Thursday. The two married in May 2012 and first met on the set of Owen’s music video for “Eight Second Ride.” Owen tweeted: “Today is the greatest day of my life. Welcome Olive Pearl Owen. 6lbs 3 oz Turkey Baby!!! Happy Thanksgiving” Congratulations to the couple and all of their family and friends!

Watch: Jana Kramer’s Video for Single “Whiskey”! Jana Kramer officially released her video for “Whiskey” about a month ago, and I just can’t get enough of this song! First of all, there’s just somethin’ about Kramer’s voice. She somehow manages to pack in tons of emotion, and she’s got just the right amount of twang hovering around those notes! Secondly, this is just straight up a well written song. I love the turn of the phrase, “should of just called him whiskey”. It conjures up such a vivid imagery, and immediately connects the listener to the lyrics. So yeah, I’m loving the song and I’m loving the video! Tim McGraw Teams Up with Ne-Yo

Tim McGraw Gets Into His R&B Side with Ne-Yo Collaboration. I don’t know if you heard about this or not, but it looks like Tim McGraw is exploring his R&B side yet again. This time he’s working with Ne-Yo on new single, “She Is” featured on his November 6th album release, R.E.D. (Realizing Every Dream). Even though I expected this to be not the best thing ever, truth is, its not that bad of a song. I actually think McGraw improves on the song…in a big way. So, Tim likes to wear lots of different hats (actor, country, R&B, one half of a power couple)…no biggie. I just hope he isn’t considering a more permanent migration to this genre. Scotty McCreery To Help Light Christmas Tree in NYC for Rockefeller Special! It’s getting to be that time of year, and the holiday programs are coming out of the woodwork! The lighting of the Christmas Tree in Rockfeller Center is one of those iconic events we always look forward to (there has been a tree in that same spot every year since 1933!!!), and this year, country music’s Scotty McCreery will be lending a helping hand during the “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” television special! Scotty was just recently announced as a part of the line-up, other celebs participating include Trace Adkins, Mariah Carey and Cee Lo Green! Blake Shelton Christmas Special Airs Next Week December 3rd

Blake Shelton’s “Not So Family Christmas” Special Airs On NBC Next Week, December 3rd! I generally like to wait until after Thanksgiving to get in the Christmas spirit, and tuning in to Blake Shelton‘s Christmas Special on Monday, December 3rd is going to be a great way to kick off this month’s festivities! Since The Voice is going so well for Shelton, it makes complete sense the network would give him a time slot for a Holiday special, and it looks like its gonna be pretty good! The TV holiday show is humorously titled “Blake Shelton’s Not So Family Christmas“, and will feature performances tunes from his recently released Christmas album, “Cheers, Its Christmas” including duets with Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson and (adorably) his mother, Dorothy Shackleford! That already sounds like a great program to me, but there’s more. Comedians Jay Leno and Larry the Cable Guy and The Voice coach Christina Aguilera will making appearances for comedy sketches throughout the show.
