Kellie Pickler Releases Cover of Upcoming Album, 100 Proof. In the run-up to the release of her upcoming album, 100 Proof, Kellie Pickler has let slip a little sneak peak of the album cover! I know you’re not supposed to judge a book (or album…) by its cover, but if you could, I think you could expect good things from 100 Proof! It has a classic and sophisticated look, and frankly, I’m excited! We’ve been hearing little bits and pieces about this album for a few months now, and Pickler’s recent single “Tough“, is one of the eleven tracks featured on the album (for a complete list see below). Bucky Covington Releases His New Single “I Wanna Be That Feeling.” After signing a record deal with Entertainment One Music Group earlier this fall, Bucky Covington is releasing his first single “I Wanna Be That Feeling.” Written by Jimmy Yeary and Ben Hayslip, the single is a tempo love track and is Covington’s first release in two years. The song has been made available for download here and wherever digital music is sold, before it hits radio. Covington recently filmed the music video for the song in Nashville’s abandoned Tennessee State Prison. Be looking for that in the new year. Right now the singer is busy in the studio recording and writing new songs for his sophomore album due out in 2012!

Taylor Swift Has A Surprising Ending In The Music Video For Ours. Taylor Swift’s latest single “Ours” has a surprising new video to go with it. The song speaks of a relationship that is understood by the only two involved in it. The video has the same general quirky theme as most of hers do, until we reach the end. At the end the love of her life is a soldier coming home. There has been some mixed reviews over this part, some say how sweet and others say when did she become active in supporting our military? The Music Video For Jake Owen’s Latest Single “Alone With You.” Jake Owen had a great amount of success with his summer anthem “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” and the way his latest single is climbing charts he might just make it two in a row! “Alone With You” is not what you would call a “love” song, more of a “lust” song. This racy video shows us (in detail) what goes on in an “after midnight” or “booty call” type relationship. You can find “Alone With You” on Owen’s album Barefoot Blue Jean Night and you can catch him on tour in 2012 with Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney on their Brothers Of The Sun tour. As part of the festivities, Phil Vassar has released a special Holiday album titled simply, Noel. Sarah Darling Films Her Music Video In The Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Black River Entertainment artist Sarah Darling has a special holiday treat for fans. She has filmed her music video for “O Holy Night” in the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, being the first artist to ever do so! “It is our privilege to make Schermerhorn Symphony Center available for this wonderful project. Kicking off the 59th Annual Piedmont Natural Gas Christmas Parade, she will sing “O Holy Night” at the lighting of the 40ft Norway spruce. It will take place at Nashville’s Public Square, beginning at 6:30. The parade will follow at 7 and is free to the public. Her recording of “O Holy Night” is available to purchase where digital music is sold.

Lady Antebellum Performs On Dancing With The Stars. Lady Antebellum stopped by the set of ABC‘s Dancing with the Stars Tuesday, November 22nd episode to perform both old and new music! The trio first performed one of the tracks off their new album, “Dancing Away With My Heart“, and then also had the chance to sing their Grammy winning hit, “Need You Now“. New Video for Care from Kid Rock and Angaleena Presley Kid Rock released the video for his current single, “Care” on Wednesday, November 23rd. Thanksgiving week is definitely an appropriate debut window for the social awareness-themed video which advocates social change at the individual level with a simple thought: just care about others. It’s a touching, relevant and interesting video which will no doubt appeal to both Kid Rock fans and those who maybe wouldn’t normally give his music a listen. The single comes off of Kid Rock’s current album, Born Free, and the album track actually features Martina McBride. However, the video features Angaleena Presley of Pistol Annies, and she makes a good addition, for sure! As is a current trend in country music (especially those artists and songs that lean a little rock-ish), the track also gets a rap influence in the contributions of rapper T.I. The single and its video are attached to a 12 date charity tour Kid Rock is engaged in now. With the help of business executives from his hometown of Detroit, Rock has managed to raise over 375,000 on the Care tour which will be given to local charities. LiveWire Honors Joplin With Miracle Of The Human Spirit. The members of the emerging country group LiveWire were born and raised in Joplin, and have released a music video that pays homage to the strength of their town in the aftermath. The music video for “Miracle of the Human Spirit” not only shows Joplin’s resolve, but also serves to continue building awareness for the ongoing work the town faces to rebuild. “Miracle of the Human Spirit” will be available on iTunes and other digital retailers on November 22. All proceeds will go to Joplin Tornado First Response Fund c/o Community Foundation of Southwest Missouri. www.cfswmo.org “Miracle of the Human Spirit” was written by LiveWire rhythm guitarist, Danny Bell, who wrote the song as an outpouring of emotion in reaction to the devastating and deadly tornado.
