Love Scotty McCreery? Here’s How You Can Help Him Win ACM Votes! Scotty McCreery‘s marketing…management…whatever team has come up with a really cool idea to give fans a chance to interact with the ACM New Artist nominee, and simultaneously get the guy the most votes! All you need is a ball…a marker…a video camera of some sort…the internet…a computer…okay, wow, that’s kind of a lot. But if you get a bunch of folks together, I’m sure you can work it out! Follow the directions below, and you can help Scotty out. Your video has a shot at being featuring on all of Scotty’s social media outlets including YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. Get a complete list of the 2012 ACM Nominations here. Directions for “Vote Scotty” Video Chain. Simple video instructions are: 1. Take a ball (any ball or throwing devise!!! Football, basketball, beach ball, volleyball, soccer ball, or even a Frisbee) and write LARGE AND CLEARLY on the ball: VOTE SCOTTY AT VOTEACM.com 2. Get 1 friend to stand off camera on your right side while you stand/sit straight in front of the camera and another friend to stand off camera to your left. 3. With the camera on, have your friend FROM YOUR RIGHT throw you the ball. 4. Catch the ball and show the VOTE SCOTTY sign on the ball clearly to camera. 5. Then throw the ball to your friend ON YOUR LEFT (or just throw it off screen). 6. Upload your video to your own YouTube channel using the video title: Vote Scotty McCreery ACM Video Submission

Jason Aldean New Video of “Fly Over States”. Jason Aldean is giving fans a new video! This time it’s for the his latest single “Fly Over States“. It’s an interesting tune that features a perspective on small town American from the POV of two average guys that probably just haven’t ever driven down those ole’ dirt roads. It’s a much slower and reflective song than some of the other singles on his 2011 CMA Album of the Year Award winning My Kinda Party, and I like it because its a lot subtler than the usual city folk vs country folk lyrics we get sometimes. Can I also say, that I could listen to Aldean saying “Oklahoma” all day long…there’s just something about it! This video shares a director, Wes Edwards, with Jason’s ACM Video of the Year nominated “Tattoos On This Town” video, and I think you’ll see the similarities! Blake Shelton To Host NRA Country/ACM Celebrity Shoot

Blake Shelton Is Set To Host The Second Annual NRA Country/ACM Celebrity Shoot! NRA Country and the Academy of Country Music announced that the Second Annual NRA Country/ACM Celebrity Shoot will take place on Saturday, March 31. ACM Entertainer of the Year nominee, Blake Shelton, will host the event, as well as co-host the Awards the following Sunday with Reba. The shoot will be part of The Week Vegas Goes Country, the week that leads up the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. The NRA Country/ACM Celebrity Shoot, presented by SoundGear by LaPierre, is a two course, 10 station, 40 target sporting clay competition for 20 teams of five shooters, including a celebrity captain. The event, emceed by Storme Warren, will take place at the Desert Hills Shooting Club. Celebrity participants include Lee Brice, Craig Campbell, Cowboy Troy, Ira Dean, Edens Edge, Craig Morgan, Jake Owen, Thomas Rhett, Outdoor Channel’s Lee & Tiffany Lakosky and Nick Mundt, TNA Impact Wrestling stars Jeff Hardy and James Storm and more! The Second Annual NRA Country/ACM Celebrity Shoot will support the Wounded Warrior Project, the Folds of Honor Foundation and the Nellis Air Force Base Youth Programs. “The Academy is thrilled to continue this partnership with Blake and NRA Country.
