Taylor Swift’s Fragrance

Taylor Swift Launches Her Own Fragrance! Well, pretty soon you will not only be able to listen to Taylor Swift, but you’ll be able to smell like her as well! Swift has announced that she will be launching her very own fragrance to prestige department stores this October. The scent has been named “Wonderstruck“, and the name is pulled from a line out of her song “Enchanted“. “I wrote the lyric, ‘I’m wonderstruck, blushing all the way home,’ for the song ‘Enchanted’ about the first time you meet someone. A fragrance can help shape someone’s first impression and memory of you.” -Taylor Swift Taylor worked with the Elizabeth Arden company to create her personalized scent, and it is full of all ingredients that conjure images of southern living like honeysuckle, white hibiscus, peach and apple blossom. No doubt Swift fans will be banging down the doors come early October to get their hands on a little bit of “Wonderstruck”.

Taylor Swift Postpones More Shows

Recent Illness Causes Taylor Swift to Delay Performances. Taylor Swift is suffering from a bout a bronchitis, and unfortunately has had to postpone three more concerts as a result. In addition to one previously rescheduled performance in Louisville, KY, Swift, under doctor’s orders, has had to delay three additional shows in Charlotte, N.C. and Atlanta, G.A. Taylor has made the scheduling changes with a heavy heart. “I would never cancel if I thought I was physically able to perform these shows. I am so sorry to the fans, but I look forward to seeing you when we come back through your towns, which we will do.” -Taylor Swift Fans will have the opportunity to attend the concerts at a later date. The Louisville performance originally set for July 2 will be moved to October 11th. The Charlotte, N.C. concert will be moved from July 8th to November 16th. The Atlanta, G.A. concerts on July 9th and 10th will be reschedule for October 1st and 2nd. Taylor will resume her original tour schedule of July 14th in Montreal.

Taylor Swift’s Story of Us Video

Taylor Swift’s Video for The Story of Us Premiered. Taylor Swift‘s latest video capturing her single “The Story of Us” was released Tuesday, May 24th on MTV. The video proves yet again that this country starlet has some depth. Maybe her lyrics are not dealing with ground breaking concepts or issues, but she definitely seems to consistently bring in a creative twist. The video context places Taylor in a library crowded with students, herself included complete with a pleated skirt, button-up shirt, tie get up and private school vibe, when she catches the eye of her ex. There are so many ways this video could go horribly wrong (may I bring your attention back to the pleated skirt ensemble?), but it doesn’t. It plays well depicting a realistic scenario with a subtly sarcastic and humorous tone. Admittedly, the video is a little all over the place, but that’s to be expected. My favorite thing about this video is the ending, but I suppose I won’t give it away. I will just say, it’s quite different from “Love Story“. Check the video out now!
