Miranda Lambert on The Voice

Miranda Lambert Joins New Husband Blake Shelton on The Voice. Miranda Lambert will be making a special guest appearance on the season finale of NBC‘s hit competition series The Voice which airs this Wednesday, June 29th at 8pm ET. She is set to perform with finalist Dia Frampton who (what a coincidence!) is tutored by Blake Shelton, one of the four coaches featured on the show. Miranda is definitely pleased to be joining her new hubby on the show! “I am thrilled to perform on my favorite new show. It’s been a joy watching my husband grow so attached to his team. Truthfully, I am a little jealous that I am not a coach myself. I can’t wait to be a part of it.” -Miranda Lambert There are three other remaining finalists, Javier Colon, Beverly McClellan, and Vicci Martinez, who will perform will perform during the Tuesday, June 28th show, and the winner will be announced during the Wednesday night finale. If you haven’t jumped on The Voice train yet, you might as well at least catch the finale and see Miranda’s performance!

Steel Magnolia On Jimmy Kimmel Live

Steel Magnolia Set to Appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Real life couple Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones otherwise known as the country duo, Steel Magnolia are scheduled to make their debut television performance tonight, Monday, June 24th on ABC‘s late night talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! 12/11pm CST. The duo will be performing a new song off of their self-titled debut album. Steel Magnolia was originally discovered on CMT‘s Can You Duet? in 2009, and since then have furthered their initial success through single and EP releases. CMA Music Fest Network Air Date

CMA Music Fest: Country’s Night to Rock 2011 Network Air Date Is Set. Whether or not you had the opportunity to experience CMA Music Festival in person this year, any country fan with access to a television will have the opportunity to either experience CMA Fest for the first time or relive the excitement. CMA Music Fest has officially announced the air date for the annual special CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock 2011, a recounting of the 2011 concerts and events at LP Field in Nashville earlier this month. The show is an edited version of the concerts a few thousand(s) lucky fans had the chance to see live including performances by Reba McEntire, Lauren Alaina, Jason Aldean, Sara Evans, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Scotty McCreery, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, the Zac Brown Band, and others. CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock will air on ABC on Sunday, August 7th at 8PM ET. Be sure to check in on this special concert event!

Billy Ray Cyrus I’m American TV Special

Billy Ray Cyrus Presents TV Special Featuring American Military Families. Billy Ray Cyrus is doing his part to honor and salute members of the American military in a TV special title “I’m American” set to air on GAC-TV Tuesday, June 21st at 8:30pm (ET). The special features 60 military families from the 101st Airborne in Ft. Campbell, KY who were invited to the Cyrus Tennessee farm to to enjoy a barbecue, games, and an acoustic concert. Cyrus performs multiple songs including “Keep the Lights On“, “Some Gave All” and the title song “I’m American” from his upcoming June 28th release. The concert was kicked into high-gear by several guest performances including Bucky Covington, Julie Roberts, Buddy Cannon and Melonie Cannon. This is sure to be one of many concerts in the run-up to July 4th in support and celebration of the men and women who serve their country as members of the American military.

Scotty McCreery On Jay Leno

Scotty McCreery Performs Single On The Tonight Show. After a long week in Nashville, Scotty McCreery is returning to the television stage. Except this time, it’s not a competition. So, maybe there will be a little less pressure! McCreery will be the featured musical act on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Wednesday, June 15th (tonight!) at 11:30/10:30 central. He will be performing his single, “I Love You This Big” which originally debuted on American Idol, before he even knew he would be walking away with the title. So far, the single has proved to be successful finding itself at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart. Blake Shelton will also be appearing on this episode of The Tonight Show as one of the featured guests! If you miss you his performance this evening, Scotty will be appearing on ABC’s Good Morning America on August 12th along with Idol runner-up Lauren Alaina and other members of Idol‘s Top 11 of Season 10. Word on the street has it that McCreery has already begun work on his debut album, but he is currently in Los Angeles to begin rehearsals for the American Idols Live tour that begins July 6 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and runs through September.

CMT Music Awards Adds The Band Perry

The Band Perry, Martina McBride Announced as Additions to CMT Music Awards Airing Tonight! The fan-voted 2011 CMT Music Awards will air this evening, Wednesday June 8th, at 8pm ET/PT on CMT and cmt.com. There is already a long list of star presenters and performers, both from the country scene and others who are just getting in on all the country fun including Jason Aldean, Shania Twain, American Idol winner and runner-up Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina, Sugarland, Rascal Flatts, Justin Beiber, and more! And the list just keep growing! The Band Perry has now been added to the list of performers! Additionally, Martina McBride and Little Big Town will be acting as presenters in this evenings festivities. Celebrity Apprentice contestant Gary Busey, actress Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Indianapolis 500 winner Dan Wheldon will also present awards. Also, Taylor Swift, with the help of Shania Twain and Glee actor Chord Overstreet, has wipped up a humorous reenactment of Thelma & Louise as part of the show’s opener. The 2011 CMT Music Awards are almost upon us, and Toby Keith has announced the award show will feature the world premier performance of his latest single “Made In America“. This song is the most recent music from Toby since his Bullets In the Gun album, and clearly showcases his patriotic pride! Keith is currently nominated in the Male Video of the Year category for the title single “Bullets In The Gun” off of the aforementioned album. Shania Twain’s New Single

Shania Twain Debuts New Single On OWN. Shania Twain recently returned full force to the country music scene with the release of her autobiography, From This Moment On and new docu-reality show, “Why Not? with Shania Twain”, on the Oprah Winfrey Network. She had left the spot light for a much needed respite after dealing with a very public and painful divorce, but now she is full of new ideas, new life (including a new husband) and lots to share with fans. In addition to her book and television series, Shania will be releasing her first single in over six years! The song is titled “Today Is Your Day“, and it will be debuted during the finale episode of of her show airing Sunday, June 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The single will be available on iTunes after the show, and it will hit country radio airwaves that week. The episode coming up later this week, Sunday June 5th at 10 p.m. ET/PT, titled “Finding My Voice“, will gives fans a peak behind the scenes as it chronicles the production of the new song. The finale episode titled “Endless Love” provides fans with the ultimate finale as it features the conclusion of Shania’s tour, and never-before-seen footage from her wedding in the Bahamas to now husband Frederic Thiebaud. So be sure to tune in the next couple weeks, and catch up with Shania and her new single!

CMT Music Awards Adds Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina and Others to Presenter Line-Up. As the date of the 2011 CMT Music Awards grows closer, the list of presenters keeps expanding! In a bit of a no-brainer, show officials have added both this year’s American Idol winner, Scotty McCreery, and runner-up Lauren Alaina as presenters. Other additional presenters include actress Melissa Peterman, CMT original movie “To The Mat” stars Laura Bell Bundy and Ricky Schroder, Shania Twain, Sara Evans, Luke Bryan and Sheryl Crow. The new additions also include several non-country oriented stars like Kristin Chenoweth, Mary Steenburgen, Train, and Green Bay Packers’ Clay Matthews. Sheryl Crow will also be filling the shoes of this year’s CMT One Country spokesperson. The show premiers live out of Nashville on Wednesday, June 8th at 8pm ET on CMT and CMT.com.
