Country’s Night to Rock Postponed One Week from Original Date.
The CMA Music Festival television special,CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock, has been rescheduled. The 3-hour show was originally set to air on Sunday, August 7th, but is now slated for exactly one week later, Sunday, August 14th. CMA representatives indicate it is just a simple schedule change, but it is speculated that the network probably did not want to have to compete with the Teen Choice Awards which are scheduled to air live on August 7th. Either way, fans still get the show, and that’s what matters.
The show will remain as previously announced including footage from this year’s CMA Music Festival in Nashville and live performances from some of country’s hottest stars. Performers include Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean collaborating with Kelly Clarkson, Dierks Bentley, Josh Turner with American Idol winner Scotty McCreery, Idol runner up Lauren Alaina joining Martina McBride, Gretchen Wilson with Big & Rich, Little Big Town, Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow, Alan Jackson performing with Zac Brown Band, The Band Perry, Sara Evans, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts, Reba, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, Sugarland, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban.
So, don’t miss out on CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock on its new night, Sunday, August 14th at 8pm on ABC.
