Keith Urban Sings Fastest Girl In Town

Keith Urban Covers Miranda Lambert’s “Fastest Girl In Town” At Concert. Last week, while doing a show in Canada, Keith Urban covered a friend and fellow musicians current single. Miranda Lambert’s “Fastest Girl In Town,” is a feisty number that talks about a girl who basically just don’t give a flying flip! The Niagara Falls crowd got a special surprise when Urban sang the song with much intensity and ease, only having to change a few words to make it fit (“I’m running with the fastest girl in town“). Watch the video for Urban’s cover of “Fastest Girl In Town” below!

Taylor Swift We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together-Video

The Official Music Video For Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” So the official music video for Taylor Swift‘s current single, and first release from her new album, Red, is here. “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” definitely has more of a pop sound than country, obviously. But, the music video for this just makes me say…huh? The band is dressed up as different animals, there are a few random dance scenes and Swift looks like she might have still been angry when this was shot (a lot of intense rolling of the eyes). However, the message of the song has already struck a chord with many. Especially seeing how Swift set a record for highest digital sales in a week for a song by a woman! As of August 19th, she had sold 623,000 copies! Watch the video for “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” below! [youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WA4iX5D9Z64]

Randy Rogers Band At George’s Majestic Lounge

The Randy Rogers Band Did NOT Disappoint On Dickson! Last night, August 30th, the Randy Rogers Band gave Fayetteville, AR one heck of a show! They played at the legendary George’s Majestic Lounge to a packed house. The show added the cherry to the already exciting week for the college town, with the first Razorback game of the season Saturday and a 3 day weekend! RRB’s latest single, “One More Sad Song,” hit iTunes earlier this week and lucky for this crowd, they got to hear it live! The band also played “Flash Flood” from their upcoming album and “Goodbye Lonely,” which will be track #1 on the new album set to release in early 2013. The new stuff was great, but one of the best things to see at any show is true fans, singing along word-for-word, with every song! “Too Late for Goodbye,” “Wicked Ways,” “Steal You Away,” “Lost and Found,” “Down and Out,” “Interstate” and “Kiss Me In The Dark” had this bunch of concert-goers doing exactly that! I am pretty partial to “Buy Myself A Chance,” so that is always the highlight of RRB’s show for me! But, one thing that I did notice after stepping back and just watching the give and take of the band with the audience (that I’ve never picked up on before) is how much these guys can command a crowd’s attention. There wasn’t much chatter between groups, no girls crying…just a bunch of smiling, dancing, singing, straight-ahead-looking fans! The show ended with “This Time Around,” and left everyone wanting more! RRB has a busy weekend ahead with shows in Thackerville, OK tonight, Corpus Christi, TX Saturday and New Braunfels, TX Sunday! If you are anywhere near any of those locations, do yourself a favor and catch their show! Check out photos from the show!

Justin Moore Til My Last Day Music Video

Justin Moore’s New Official Music Video For “Til My Last Day.” “Til My Last Day” is the first love song that Justin Moore has ever released to radio. Although I love the kind of songs he usually releases, I have to say my vote goes for more love songs! He does them so well! A while back Moore released a Live video for “Til My Last Day” that included scenes of him on the road and him with his family. This week the official video came out, and let me tell you…IT IS AWESOME! It is so sweet and I can’t lie to y’all…I even teared up (yes it is that good). I don’t want to give anything away, so just do yourself a favor and watch it here now!

Martina McBride Lends Her Voice For Charity

The Shalom Foundation’s Hymns, Hams & Jams Concert Was A Success! Last week, Martina McBride shared her time and musical talents at Nashville’s Hymns, Hams & Jams concert from Loveless Barn in support of The Shalom Foundation. The event was a huge success, raising much-needed funds in support of its medical program in Guatemala. The August 21 Hymns, Hams & Jams concert, headlined by Martina McBride, also featured a performance and live auction with legendary songwriter Bob DiPiero. GAC and Sirius XM personality Storme Warren hosted the event. Auction items included tickets to the 2012 World Series, Nashville Predators VIP packages, Peter Nappi custom footwear, a private bus party, exclusive concert tickets and backstage experiences with artists including Brad Paisley and The Band Perry and a unique eat-and-greet experience with Zac Brown Band, all bringing in donations for the Christian organization and its work in Guatemala. The Shalom Foundation recently brought 14-year old Angelica Morales to Vanderbilt’s Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital to complete surgery on a complicated vascular malformation, which required more resources than were currently available at its Moore Pediatric Surgery Center in Guatemala City. A pediatric dental surgery team recently returned from The Moore Pediatric Surgery Center in Guatemala City, led by doctors and nurses from the Nashville area including Dr. George Adams, Dr. George Fiaz and Dr. Shannon Hershey. Proceeds from this month’s Hymns Hams & Jams will directly support The Shalom Foundation’s medical program.
