CMT today announced three-time GRAMMY® award-winning singer-songwriter Darius Rucker is set to headline the second installment of the recently revived iconic music series “CMT Storytellers,” premiering on Wednesday, August 31st at 10pm ET/PT on CMT. Additional encores to air on CMT on Wednesday, August 31 at 11p/10c and Sunday, September 4 at 12p/11c and on CMT Music on Friday, September 9 at 8p/7c and Saturday, September 10 at 10a/9c and 6p/5c.
“CMT GIANTS: Vince Gill,” an all-new 90-minute special celebrating the extraordinary career and music of country music titan Vince Gill. The star-packed event premieres Friday, September 16th at 9p/8c exclusively on CMT. Gill’s tourmate and vocalist Wendy Moten first revealed the news last night onstage in front of a sold-out crowd at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium during night one of his four-night residency.
The 15th Annual ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC (ACM) HONORS show will televised on FOX for the first time this year. The show, taking place at NASHVILLE’s RYMAN AUDITORIUM on AUGUST 24th, will be filmed to air on the network on SEPTEMBER 13th from 8-10p (ET/PT).
